After luring in a large number of viewers for their livestream yesterday to showcase the maps of Expedition, the first piece of DLC for Titanfall, Respawn failed to deliver the most sought after piece of info: when we can drop our Titans on said maps. Instead, it appears the best way to deliver that info was through a tweet after dinner-time the following night. Okay then. The important thing is that we now know.

Expedition will be available in two days time, May 15th, and Respawn has also detailed a patch that will drop with the DLC. Some of the highlights for the new update:

  • Tracking for which maps you've played on to help with the "I've Seen It All" achievement.
  • Tracking for which campaign maps you've won as each faction for the "Elite Pilot" achievements.
  • Custom load-out names.
  • Two dedicated custom load-outs per game mode.
  • Last Game Summary to check previous game's stats.
  • More Custom Match settings (still no achievements, challenges, or xp in Private Matches).
  • Losses will now be awarded for quitting a match, where previously there was no penalty.

Full details are available here. Titanfall: Expedition will be available on Xbox One from May 15th for $9.99, or part of the Season Pass available now for $24.99. Bluepoint Games will have the DLC and patch available for Xbox 360 owners at some point in June.
