SEGA and Creative Assembly have released a gameplay trailer Alien: Isolation, its upcoming survival horror title. It's, rather appropriately, called 'Survive.'

I got to play the game again recently and it has lost none of its power to terrify. Dark, brooding and with one of the best scores around, it's definitely one to look out for. The written preview will be on the site in the next few minutes.

"Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger," says the blurb. "Fifteen years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley's daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance."

"As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien."

"Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive."

  • Sorry this is Completely unrelated, but does anybody know what the deals of the week are this week? They're usually released on a tuesday, I can't seem to find any info anywhere.
  • No. On topic, this game just keeps on looking better and better! Such a relief that the voice acting appears to be half decent too
  • Looks stunning, so immersive and atmospheric. Nothing but good feelings on this game every time I see new footage. This will be my Oct 7th purchase....busy day that day.
