Here's some gameplay footage from Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Specifically, the sexied up Anniversary version of Halo 2. What do you think?

Announced during Microsoft's E3 press conference last night, The Master Chief Collection contains all of the Master Chief Halos up to this point, including Halo 1 - 4. There's loads of extras too, including access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta, the inclusion Ridley Scott's Halo series Nightfall, over 100 multiplayer maps and 4000 Gamerscore.

Have a look below. The Master Chief Collection hits Xbox One on November 11th, 2014.

  • Gonna get me a scarab gun.
  • @1 Only if they base it off the PC version which had the Scarab Gun, which i doubt they will do...
  • Rehash, Remake, money money money. Originality?
  • I cannot wait for this. So excited to get some classic Halo 2 MP back.
  • @ #3: halo 2 is worthy of a remake... halo 4 not at all since its already new and i doubt it will be improved.. but getting this halo master chief edition to replay halo 1, 2 and 3 again :D
  • @2 The scarab gun was in the xbox version as well.
  • @2 The scarab gun was in the console version....
  • @2 Console had it as well.
  • @2 you could get Scarab Guns in the console version :/
  • @2 I not sure if anyone's said already but it is also in the con... oh my bad.
  • @2 Yeah as @6, @7, @8, @9 and @10 said.
  • Can't wait for this. I just need to solve the small problem of actually getting an Xbox One first.
  • I wish it was just Halo 1-3. That is the real Master Chief collection.
  • I thought I heard this, but can anyone confirm - they took out the multiplayer achievements for the 4k and it is all achievements for the campaign and such??
  • Naaaw no 360 version
  • @15 nope! and good too, finally can focus on Xbox One. The 360 library will slowly die out as more developers focus on this generation consoles.
  • #10 = making the internet great :)
  • looks nice but anyone else think the br had only had a bit of work done to it @14 they say they all have there original muliplayer so makes sense to remove multiplayer chivos since not that many people will be online on each game
  • @16 the 360 library is huge. And apart from maybe 10 to 15 games everything else is coming out on the 360 this year. Not gettin an xbox1 till next year personally when the true big guns should be out ie the division, batman, halo 5, crackdown etc. Only way ill get an xbox1 this year is if there is 30plus xbox1 only games
  • @18 that's kind of what I was thinking. Thanks! Looking forward to an awesome list.
  • Classic halo is back YES
  • This is a really cool idea. Would have been cool to throw in reach, I mean it is the start of his journey after all.. He's on the ship! :p But this is good news, I know expect a Gears collection as well.. Honestly never played gears 3 or judgment so would like to get all of those on Xbox one before the new gears probe in 2016
  • Been looking forward to this for a long time. I honestly did not expect them to port all of the games over as a single package deal though. Will certainly help with Xbox One sales; $60 isn't bad at all.
  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The thing I'm looking most forward to doing with me and my friends, is doing what we did on Halo: CE's Console only multiplayer way back in the day which was having Stickie only fights, but we would stand on opposite ends of a map, and throw the grenades all the way across the map and trying to stick one another. Those were such classic fun Halo moments for me and my friends. it was truly great fun, and I just can't wait to be able to return to that, and also do it in Multiplayer too.
  • @23 I actually don't think this will push consoles much, but this will be something most Xbox one owners will pick up
  • I'm with @3. Stop rehashing/remaking old games. Yes, they were great, but lets move on. This won't stop with one and two. In a couple of years, I can see a remake of three. why aren't the really classic games remade? RE ( they did a fantastic remake on the Gamecube, imagine what they can do on a xbox1), Silent Hill, Onimusha, etc. Just my opinion.
  • Just to say Sony have a better line up Microshit have the same old same old!
  • :-( I was hoping they'd at least bring Halo 2 to the 360 :-( I'll never get to play the fucking thing, this makes me a sad sad panda.
  • Can anyone answer this, will all the halos get there original MP, so 4 MPs for this game...?
  • Money is an essential part of our life, without money we are nothing. When i  lost my job i was very depressed then my sister tell me about online jobs.she tell me that she earns 11k a month,so i tell her that i am interested in it and after that day i am earning 88$ per hour. You can also earn, this is what i do.. >>>>>>>> www.bay91.CℴM
  • @31 seems legit
  • The best news....ever! Bring on the killimanjaro!
  • i think they made a mistake, isn't it Spielberg's series included in this bundle and not Scott's?
  • Upgrade the visuals, but don't touch the sounds. The extremely bass boosted grenades and sniper rifle in halo 1 anniversary were a little to over the top for me. Also @2 I don't know for sure, but I believe I tried it one time and got a scarab gun in halo 2. Though that could just be me. And Seeing nobody else cared to comment on it.
  • @29 You will get to play it... all you have to do is buy either the original xbox and the game or the xbox one and this set of games... @35 please read threads before making senseless comments. posts 6,7,8,9,10,and 11 all commented on #2's ignorance of the scarab gun on console, hence why i didn't comment on it. and that's total comments in a row that addressed the topic. plus yours for 7 comments in all.
