Far Cry 4 is all over the place at E3 2014. Here’s a vid of the game’s opening minutes, a co-op gameplay trailer, as well as details on a special edition.
We’ve been hunting around for the standalone version of the opening cinematic, but we can’t seem to find an english language version. So you’re stuck with a vid stripped straight from the conference feed. You do get Dan Hay’s brilliant “you’re fucked” though. So there’s that.
Meanwhile, you’ll also find some co-op gameplay footage below. It’s got grappling hooks, stomping elephants, helicopters, tuk-tuks, wingsuits, eagles, an auto crossbow and loads of other cool shit.
In addition to this, a special edition of the game has been revealed. No doubt the first of many, the Kyrat Edition contains a collector’s box, a 20cm Pagan Min figurine, a map of Kyrat, a travel journal, a propaganda poster and the Hurk’s Redemption Limited Edition DLC.
The description for Hurk’s Redemption reads, “Save Hurk from Imprisonment in 3 action-packed single-player missions.” Hurk’s Redemption also includes a “badass harpoon gun.”
Far Cry 4 hits PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One from November 18th, 2014.
