After the epic Marvel vs. Capcom 3 final between Justin Wong and Chris G at Evo 2014 this evening, Tekken creator, Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage to give fans a bit of a treat.
In front of a packed house in Las Vegas this evening, Harada-san took to the stage to announce the already leaked Tekken 7, showing off a trailer of the title, joking to pretend that fans didn’t see this announcement coming.
There wasn’t really much to the CGI trailer apart from a few familiar names, like Kazuya and Heihachi cropping up, but the important takeaway is that the latest Tekken title is coming.
No mention of platforms just yet, but the trailer – and Harada-san – did say that fans should expect more on Tekken 7 from the fighting panel on July 25th at this year’s Comic Con.
Harada-san said that he wasn’t done with the surprises this year too and to expect more, so stay tuned on that front.
