  • I wonder how much has being toy-required affected this game's sale numbers? ...and yeah I know Skylanders a success
  • @1 I would gather disney infinity's first entry didn't do so well, hence why there's a marvel version. If marvel fails, they'll release a Star Wars version.
  • @2: 1 did pretty well really.
  • Disney Infinity has sold over 3 million starter packs and "an estimated $500 million in global retail sales to date," according Disney Interactive President Jimmy Pitaro I believe Skylanders and Disney Infinity are VERY profitable for both companies. PS: Get ready for Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Universe next year :)
  • a shame they need to use so much of the movie designs, that is certainly not the way Green Goblin looks in my book at all.
  • @5 They're using the design from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. This game series is basically a toy/game marketing platform for their movies (Disney and Marvel)and TV shows, with a few Disney/Pixar characters tossed in for fun. And @1 Disney Infinity outsold the recent Skylanders game. They're releasing a Marvel version because the Marvel toylines are the number 1 sellers, so when you combine the number 1 toyline (Marvel Heroes) with a video game, you basically print money. Yes, the next version will probably be Star Wars, which will no doubt be released... you guessed it, when Star Wars Episode 7 is released in theaters.
  • #6 is right, this is the Green Goblin from the "ultimate" universe. I guess the original characters might be a bit too scary for kids. You know, that's a kids game. I won't buy it either :)
  • comics have always been for kids and if the goblin didn't make little kids in the 70's too scared to sleep at night when he actually looked cool I think the brats of today could handle him too ;)
  • Green Goblin looks more like a Skrull now so hopefully they release a "classic" figure later on down the line.
