With the Destiny beta done and dusted, Bungie has revealed a new multiplayer map for the game's Crucible mode; a mid-sized map called 'Twilight Gap' that's situated in an abandoned military facility, nestled high in a snowcapped mountain range.
"The Twilight Gap is an abandoned military base that's on the outskirts of the last city, so you'll see the traveler in the skybox, the first thing you're going to see in the establishing shot when we first come here," Lead Designer Lars Bakken revealed to IGN. "The city's over there, you'll see the wall off in the distance, you'll see the mountains, and this place is one of the places that humanity has overtaken again and has reclaimed back."
You can take a look at the Earth-based Twilight Gap map in the gameplay videos below. It'll be playable across all Crucible multiplayer modes when Destiny launches on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Watch our Destiny beta videos here.
