EA Sports has announced that FIFA 15 won't have Brazilian Club Teams, due to "some changes in the ways players are licensed in Brazil domestic leagues". However, the Brazilian National Team will still be in the game, as will Brazilian players who appear in other leagues.

It's been previously confirmed that the Italian Serie A will be included in FIFA 15, however, with all 20 clubs including their authentic kits and crests, all of the official Serie A branding including the logo, the official Nike match ball and the Scudetto trophy.

More announcements are planned for FIFA 15 at Gamescom later this month, so watch this space for those. FIFA 15 is out on September 23rd in North America, September 25th in Europe and September 26th in the UK. You can watch yesterday's new FIFA 15 trailer below.

  • Hope they will add Turkish league
  • and China
  • not brazilian teams? but they have such a good players... shame
  • @3 I know what you mean I buy a lot of young players from the Brazilian teams.
  • Can we just not have the Brazil national team, so I don't have to play against them (or RM) all the damn time? Thanks.
  • I think its a joke that the game is launching in the U.S before anywhere else when its more popular in the U.K. and Europe. I'm not saying it shouldn't launch in the U.S, but this is one title I think should come here first. Not really bothered about Brazilian club teams tbh, as long as the general gameplay and controls/handling is better than last years then I will be happy.
  • Why the hell were @1 and @2 voted down? Why shouldn't those leagues be included? @5 Dont play as 5* teams, problem fixed. @6 I totally agree. We get shafted with everything games related. Prices, launch dates, features etc (although not as badly as some places).
  • @6 It's only three days, I'm sure you'll live ;)
  • Get rid of the lame ass Irish Airtricity league!!
  • @8, yes its only 3 days and I don't mind the wait as I will have Destiny to keep me occupied. Its just the principal that a sport which is primarily popular here than in the U.S should launch here first, as we will most likely buy more copies of the game. You would never see an NFL,NHL, or NBA title launch in the UK before America, so why should we have to wait for something we have loved since its creation, and not since 2months ago in Brazil. I know that the MLS is becoming more popular and don't deny that football is growing in the U.S, but just for once they should be the ones who have to wait this few extra days so those of us who have been football fans our whole lives get first dibs on the latest football game.
  • Bring in the Scottish Championship so the mighty Rangers can participate in career. Would like to see some more variety with achievements etc.
  • @11 LOL, ah hell why not if only so i can play my local team Queen of the South!
  • Cant say im fussed, the might of Glasgow's Green & White Army will be there, 'nuff said . . .
  • #6 just buy off the us marketplace, i dunno if u buy digital or not but lets be honest if u buy fifa every year then its not like you need it to be a disc version as ur not gonna trade it in.. I buy digital from us store (from ireland) and it always works out cheaper too.. $59.99 converts to €44 so its definitely worth it
  • 1-2 i agree i like Brazil teams but i also liked the Czech teams Cant wait to play as Luton Town again
  • I say it every year and it never happens but i hope they add the English Conference.
  • @1 You took the words right out of my mouth. @6 Its launched a bit earlier in North America because you're better than us, so we need a little time to feel like winners. @7 For me it says @1 was voted up and @2 was voted down. I can't answer your question other than people may be racist towards the Chinese. OT I would also like to see the Croatian League. I would love to play as Dynamo Zagreb (not sure if I spelled that right)
  • Games come out on Tuesdays in the US, that's why the release dates are staggered. It's not because they hate the UK or think the US is better. It's just how games have been released for years. If it makes you feel better, the MLS will be a year behind the rest of the leagues anyway. I highly doubt the expansion teams (including my home town team) will make it into FIFA 15. So, the teams will be playing several months before they wind up in FIFA 16. Wish the US would get on the same schedule as the rest of the world, but that would interfere with American football I guess. Can't have anything interfering with THAT.
  • @17 When I posted they were both on -1. @1 obviously has had two up votes since. @18 Then it should come out on the Tuesday AFTER we get it, or do what they do with games like CoD/GTA and release it worldwide on the same day. As far as when the MLS runs, several European Leagues have a summer schedule. But thats down more to weather than it clashing with another sport.
  • @5 if it helps whenever i played fifa online, everyone seemed to be barcelona ffs! with the odd 2 out being ac milan and liverpool. mind you i did always pick arsenal lol.
  • @12 last thing i would wanna do is play as my local team of portsmouth :P
  • its a shame the brazillian league wont be in but they should replace the saudia arabian one with qatar and bring in the chinese league aswell.
  • Slovenian teams would give the licencing for free to EA, just to advertise them in the game. I would love to play with NK Maribor, yes the club responsible for the Rangers to go bankrupt, because they eliminated them from the Europa league :)
  • Soccer has become very popular here in America and the reason why USA gets it first is because new releases for CDs, DVDs, and Games are always on Tuesdays. If I'm not mistaken, in Europe it's on Fridays. As far as the Brazilian league not being on there, I just hope we at least get the rest of the South American leagues to finally have a Copa Libertadores tournament.
  • @24 Then why not call it by its real name off Football, the Americans call a game football that is played 95% with your hands but call a game soccer that's played 99% with the foot hence the name football. Now you can see why Europe get mad that its released in a country first that can't even call it by its proper name lol.
  • We already have a sport which we call football. I say soccer because that is to how we refer to it here in the USA and will continue to refer to it like that. Soccer, deal with it.
  • @26 But I'm just wondering why you call a sport football when you use your hands. Saying its based on Rugby you would have thought it would have been called American Rugby. I'm good friends with Americans and lived in Pittsburgh for 2 summers so I'm not being anti US but even my US friends can't understand why you call a sport played 90+% with hands FOOTball but they still love the game. Just one off lifes mystery's I suppose lol.
