Sniper Elilte III is set to receive a bunch of new content this summer, starting with the free 'Lost Valley' multiplayer map, which will be the second of four planned free maps. That'll be followed up by a new Sniper Rifles Pack and the Summer of Sniper event, during which more content will launch.
The free Lost Valley map is described as "one of the most diverse maps ever made for the series", with "perilous vertical terrain and excavated ruins, to a sinkhole, open jungle and sea shallows". It includes secret routes, vantage points, loads of foliage for cover and an exposed mountain range where you can get a good view over the battlefield.
The Sniper Rifles Pack will include the Kar 98k , M1917 Enfield, and a specially tuned version of the Springfield rifle. Last but not least, the Summer of Sniper will bring with it the remaining two free multiplayer maps and more weapon packs, as well as the concluding two missions in the 'Save Churchill' DLC campaign, the first part of which still has yet to launch on consoles.
We'll have more on this upcoming DLC for Sniper Elite III once some solid dates and further details emerge for consoles.
