You can now view the entirety of the San Diego Comic Con Halo: The Master Chief Collection developer panel, in which Halo Community Manager Andy Dudynsky, Senior Producer Dennis Ries, Certain Affinity President Max Hoberman, Blur Studio (the tea behind the remastered cut scenes) Director Franck Balson and 343i's Halo Franchise Development Director, Frank O'Connor, discuss the upcoming remakes.

The panel features a behind the scenes look at before and after videos of Blur Studio's work on injecting new life into the cut-scenes for Halo 2: Anniversary, as well as more info on the remastered and reimagined Zanzibar map. You'll have already read a bit about the Zanzibar map last week, but the panel offers up a bit more detail.

Check out the SDCC Halo: The Master Chief Collection developer panel in full below. You'll be able to enjoy Halo 1-4 remastered in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection when it launches on November 11th exclusively for Xbox One.

  • Only a couple more months yall!! Halo 2 here we come!
  • They keep specifically mentioning Lockout, Ivory Tower, and Midship at every panel since E3. Pretty sure those will be the final three remastered maps.
  • I love hearing them discuss how the H2 MP and its maps were made, it's amazing it all started with just a 2 man team. Looking forward to hearing more at Gamescom.
  • All I hear is the Halo Theme song in my head, and it's amazing.
  • @2 yeah think your right, shame I wanted a remake of sanctuary, ivory tower was good but the remake in reach was as well the remake of sanctuary in reach wasn't anywhere near as good since it was forged
  • @5, Yeah, Ivory Tower in Reach was atrocious though, dude. Reflection, right? Ew. I wouldn't mind Waterworks, but that one wasn't popular enough :/ Sanctuary and Colossus woulda been good choices, as well. Oh well!
  • This has gotten me so excited! I am already planning on doing all four campaigns on Legendary in one sitting.
  • i'm excited for this, but I'm actually a little bit disappointed the way multiplayer is being handled. I understand they do not want to split up the community, but I feel like voting on the maps will be a pain. Also, all of the games play differently so I don't like how one match I'm able to duel wield and have different damage counters and then I flip to say a halo 4 map and I'm using load outs and etc... Plus, what if one night when I'm playing I only want to play halo 2 maps or just halo 3 maps. If i'm understanding correctly I won't be able to do that instead I'll be stuck hoping that people vote the same map as me.
  • @8 I think they are going to have specific playlists for each generation also... Going to be amazing!
  • @8, Frankie already confined during IGN's Live Coverage of MCC after E3 that each game will also have it's own dedicated playlists for MP. So if you want to JUST play Halo 2 maps, they will provide for that.
  • I watched it couple of days ago from Halo Follower's channel
  • I see they mentioned that the achievements are all new. That both excites and terrifies me.
  • I wish they would just remaster every halo 2 map :/
