Ubisoft has released a couple of new trailers for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, the Xbox 360 and PS3 instalment of the runny, jumpy, climby and stabby series.

“Discover Shay hunting down Assassins,” says the blurb for the first vid. “Infiltration and discretion are key for killing your former brothers. Use new weapons to help you on this path of vengeance.”

The second vid, meanwhile, focuses on Arctic naval gameplay. “Fight your enemies with the Morrigan, your new boat, using new deadly weapons,” reads the description.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue will be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11th.

  • Prepare for a bunch of incoming comments about how this should have been DLC for AC4 and WHY ARE YOU PLAYING AS A TEMPLAR IN ASSASSINS CREED Sure it's mostly like AC4 in terms of gameplay and graphics but it's an entirely new story, it adds some new gameplay mechanics, it fine tunes some others (like naval and navigation) and most importantly is going to be a story coming from the other side, which I think is most important because it'll make things a bit more grey instead of the black/white Assassins = Good Templars = Bad approach they've been taking. But if you care less about that, then here's something else most of you will like. There will be no multiplayer. Neither in Rogue nor Unity (Unity will have co-op but no more competitive) so all development for this game is being put towards the single player.
  • I for one am glad this game has no multiplayer. Perhaps I cab 1000 this entry without those pesky achievements in the way.
  • This actually looks a dreadful bore. and this is coming from someone who loved the swashbuckling AC4.
  • After playing Black Flag on the Xbox One, it will be weird playing an AC game with worse graphics.
  • Considering that Black Flag was already massive and way too repetitive, this is just more of the same. I see as little innovation as in the Call of Duty series.
  • Looking forward to this to be honest!
  • I can't wait to play this, along with Unity. I've loved all assassins creed games, so I know I'll love this one as well.
  • is it just mean or did that assassin chase just look like they will be really annoying constantly getting stunned etc.
  • Can also see this eventually coming to the X1.
  • cant wait.... got them both pre-ordered and waiting to get them....
  • So many games coming out, there's no way I'll have enough time for everything.
  • I have an xbox 360 and Xbox one but I'm done buying games for the 360. I don't get why a AAA title at this point wouldn't come out on the one as well. Kind of pisses me off. I still play my 360 because of the massive backlog I have but haven't bought a new game since the one came out and won't start now. Would feel watered down. Grrr, I want this game...but only on X1.
  • Penguins!!! Also, I'm looking forward to this. :)
  • #12 "I don't get why a AAA title at this point wouldn't come out on the one as well." That answer is simple, there are more Xbox 360/PS3 owners in the world. Logically, they went in that direction because bigger market = more money. IMO.
  • To the left of Cormac... is that Haytham?
  • @15 yes it is Haytham, they mention it during the 2nd video
  • Penguins in the Arctic?
  • @14 I know this... That's why I said "as well".
  • I'll get this in sure. But doesn't look to be any real innovation here....so far
  • Wow this looks great I have still yet to play much of Black Flag so I will have that, Unity, and this to enjoy later this year gonna be fun. Also I am glad to see Haythem come back but he didn't really do all that much just kind of stood there and tried not to fall. I know he is no longer one of the central characters of this game but I hope he has a larger role come this November...
