Konami has announced the release date and cover star of the first next-gen Pro Evo game, as well as slapping a date on the football sim's demo.

PES 2015 will hit Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and PC on November 13th and Germany and Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Götze will feature on the game’s cover.

The demo for the game, which is heading to all targeted release consoles, will arrive on September 17th, one week before the release date of arch-rival FIFA 15.

  • Glad that they push the September release window to November. Hopefully it'll give them extra time to make sure that its perfect. Can't wait to try the demo, though.
  • But they do know that Manchester United's kit sponsor for the coming season will be Chevrolet and no longer Aon?
  • It's not 'next-gen' is it? It's cross-gen, biiiiiiiiiig difference.
  • A Demo............whats a Demo?
  • Pes can't dream to compete with FIFA this year I've supported FIFA from the early pes glory days purely for licensing reasons really (Aston villa not West Midlands village) and now all 20 stadiums prem stadiums included plus there usual licenses and the fact it plays as well if not better than the pes glory days koni have to realise they can not out perform FIFA at all
  • I instantly saw the image & thought "WTF, Carrick is the cover star?" Haha, I'm glad they're using new & different players like Mario Götze, I'm so bored of seeing Messi & Ronaldo all the time....
  • @5 Your not gonna like to hear this, but that you went with Fifa over PES (back when PES was by far the better game) purely because of licenses means your not a football fan. Those Fifa games back on the PS2/1st Xbox were so bad it was embarrassing.
  • Since PES 2008, I think Fifa has been pulling away steadily every year.
  • Who cares about who was better 10 years ago, now fifa is better. the only thing that pes has is the champions league
  • @7 you couldn't be further from the truth been watching villa with a season ticket since I was 7 years old (now 24) I was only concerned about actually playing as my team in their authentic kits gameplay didn't bother me back then weren't until recently I saw how good gameplay was on pes back in the day and how much better FIFA is now @9 and your right they only have champs league is FIFA got that goodnight rip pes
  • @10 Your final sentence says everything. 'And your right they only have champs league if FIFA got that goodnight rip pes' If Fifa got the CL it would mean jack shit. If PES went back to the gameplay they had on the PS2 it would be the better game.
