Sounds like some pretty cool DLC to me, rather than just a map pack or weapon pack. Can't wait for this game!Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:16 PM
I was on the fence with getting this but I think I'm gonna go ahead and get it on release day. Looks fun.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:21 PM
Nobody cares! Fallout 4 or GTFO Bethesda!!Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:25 PM
Its a shame I need to spend more to get the whole story. Sure it will be worth it though.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:25 PM
@3 Funny you should say that I would take this over Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 4 everyday of the week. At this isn't even made by Bethsoft only published...Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:31 PM
I'll definitely get the game, and if I like it enough I'll happily buy the DLC.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:35 PM
I'm all for single player DLC, it's so rare to get. It's always stupid map packs and skin packs. I love continuing the story in a good game.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 02:42 PM
@4 thats the thing, this isn't part of the story you're buying. these 3 dlcs have you take control of someone other than the protagonist. if you dont want to buy it, wait until someone releases the story on the wiki, simpleWednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 03:37 PM
One of my most anticipated games this year, I can't wait to play this and I hope it brings horror back to what horror should be.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 03:57 PM
This game looks better and better to me. Love to see single-player story DLC. Unfortunately becoming a rarity these days.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 04:27 PM
Wow another game to add to the list (far cry 4, assassins creed, cod, destiny, etc) that have announced a season pass and dlc months before the game is even available its just ridiculous. Ill wait till this is under £20. I don't give a fuck what they say i bet this dlc has just been cut out of the game to sell back to us. No thanks keep you're shitty business practise to yourselves. I cant believe how many ppl actually put up with this shit and actually buy a game when they know they are getting robbed of 30% of the game and still buying it and the dlcWednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 04:42 PM
Dlc and season passes seem to be the norm these days. More content is only good if its a decent amount of gaming time included in dlc. Still say Shivering Isles nailed it. Spent over 20 hours in that. Pirates of the Flying Fortress in Two Worlds 2 was also a sizable dlc.Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 07:43 PM
Anyone have ps4 and play the p.t. Demo? That was some creepy ass shit!!!!!! Horror games look to be making a comeback, I love it!Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 09:44 PM
This becoming like "Game of the Year" releases, where what they really mean is "game + all DLCs". A "Season" is not three pieces of story-based add-ons. >.>Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 10:47 PM
@15 it is if its released over a 3 month period...Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 11:48 PM
3 is right. And anyone who says they would rather play Evil Within over FALLOUT 4 is a liar. The only thing more DLC for this game means is a longer wait for FALLOUT 4. Regardless if Bethesda is only a publisher they won't want FALLOUT 4 news to attribute to bad sales with Evil Within, hence why Bethesda has been tight lipped about FALLOUT 4. As soon as FALLOUT 4 is announced every press conference about any game will be overshadowed and inundated with talk about FALLOUT 4. So if you're a FALLOUT 4 fan any news about ESO or Evil Within having DLC or being delayed is bad news. This is bad news.Thursday, August 14, 2014 @ 12:24 AM
season pass = i'll passThursday, August 14, 2014 @ 02:44 AM
@17 hey thanks for helping me sort out my own personal thoughts and opinions, I needed that... OT, more excited for this than Fallout 4Thursday, August 14, 2014 @ 07:14 AM
@17 I guess I'm a liar then because even though this game looks really fun I have to be picky with the games I get I'll have to not get this or wait till its cheaper, but with that said in more excited about this than fallout 4 as I've never really cared for fallout titles... Don't think because you're more excited about it than this doesn't mean everyone else is. That's your opinion not necessarily everyone else. That doesn't make me or anyone else here a liar and to assume so only makes you a bigger ass than you know.Thursday, August 14, 2014 @ 07:16 AM
I'm not in sry for double postThursday, August 14, 2014 @ 08:37 AM
@13 its the norm because ppl keep putting up with it and buying the games. If more ppl turned round kept their money in their pocket or bought a product without a season pass and dlc they would have to change their business practises but when ppl know and still buy the game these devs must be pissing themselves laughing how gullible their customers are and the extra cash they make of the dlc. Well ive had enough of it. Dlc was meant to be a after-thought not just a cash in and be announced before the game is even releasedThursday, August 14, 2014 @ 09:25 AM
@22 I guess you're not getting BL:PS then huh??? You know they have tons of dlc planned and that games not out yet. They just haven't announced it yet but don't worry they will.Thursday, August 14, 2014 @ 02:49 PM
@23 nope cos it will be exactly the same as the other 2. Just fetch quests and kill everything that movesWednesday, August 27, 2014 @ 09:18 PM
still complaints of DLC? doesnt it get old? So if they just waited to tell everyone about the DLC you'd be okay than? its just that they have it planned before release? Every game, every thread, every other post.

Bethesda has announced that upcoming horror title The Evil Within will receive three post-launch chunks of downloadable content, two of which will form a story-based expansion.
“In the first add-on, assume the role of The Keeper (aka Boxman) in a sadistic collection of mission-based maps,” explains Bethesda on the BethBlog.
“The second and third add-ons take you further down a path of madness in a two-part, story-driven experience in the role of Juli Kidman — Sebastian Castellanos’ rookie partner from The Evil Within.
“Encounter new weapons, discover unthinkable enemies, and new areas that reveal hidden motives and harrowing evil.”
The Season Pass encompassing all three of these expansions costs $19.99/£14.99/€19.99. The Evil Within hits Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 14th in North America and October 17th in Europe.
