Bungie must return the stocks it took from Martin O’Donnell, following the Halo and Destiny composer’s shock dismissal from the company earlier this year.
O’Donnell was sacked in April 2014 and has already won $95,000 for unpaid work and vacation time, double damages and attorney's fees and interest. The new order, issued by an arbiter between the two parties, states that that O'Donnell was illegitimately stripped of his Bungie stocks.
According to the arbiter, as a stockholder and a founding member of Bungie, O'Donnell's stocks could only be taken away if he had quit the firm. The value of the stocks has yet to be disclosed.
