It looks like we're going to be well and truly spoilt rotten when it comes to zombie survival games over the next few months. How to Survive will be making its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year as the 'How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition', with a bunch of new stuff.

505 Games and developer Eko Software have revealed that the crafting survival zombie title on Xbox One and PS4 will include new maps, new characters, new modes, new weapons and new survival tips. That's loads of new, but there's a whole list of DLC that will also be bundled.

Here's all of the add-on content you'll get with the How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition:

  • Heat Wave DLC to equip the 3 original playable characters with fireproof suits and teach them the ability to craft incendiary ammo.
  • Kovac’s Way DLC, which introduces an additional difficulty level to the game with new and demanding gameplay conditions.
  • Hello, My name is Nina DLC. Presenting an additional character with the ability to craft flamethrowers and advanced chainsaws.
  • “El Diablo” Islands DLC where players will discover new islands, meet new characters and face unpredictable threats.
  • One Shot Escape DLC. Allowing players to roam the islands on a highly randomized scenario trying to find and repair an escape vehicle.
  • Barricade! DLC. Introduces a new game mode where players will try to protect survivors as long as they can, setting traps and barricades.

You'll be able to grab the How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition via digital download for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in autumn 2014.

  • does that mean the dlc will be coming to xbox 360 aswell we all ready got heat wave dlc
  • I'll wait for State of Decay: year one survival edition in the spring.
  • @1 I doubt it, seems like this is all extra stuff for people who buy the current gen version on xb1/ps4. Never played this yet but may give it a chance.
  • Didn't get into this game. Really enjoyed state of decay, docs, mehhhhhh nit so much
  • FUCK ME CAN WE ACTUALLY HAVE SOME FUCKING NEW FUCKING GAMES I DIDN'T SPUNK 500 SHEETS ON AN EMULATOR.
  • @5: Then go play the new games? Why even come into this news article?
  • @5 Chill your knickers Mr whingey pants! You could always just skip the article and continue playing new games.
  • Never really played this game, might pick it up on a sale or something
  • Wouldn't bother I found the xbla version very repetitive and boring. I agree with #5 the amount of re-releases on the xbox1 is a fucking joke. How many ppl would have ANY interest if they had no achs?! Bet they wouldn't sell half as much
  • @5 lol you got suckered Next gen wont arrive for another year or two
  • the 360 and ps3 have another year in them , although you can see now games being released that are multiplatform between current and last gen, the 360 and ps3 are starting to get watered down versions like FIFA for example and WWE. as for re-releases some of them are just cash ins but others are probably what the developers wanted in the first place but last gen didnt have enough power or resources so you are in fact getting the definitive edition... tomb raider looked good on both consoles but the tress FX did actually add so much more to the look of the game, metro redux is amazing how much is different, gta 5 looks to be impressive, i dont particularly agree with arcade titles though, not a massive leap on graphics or gampeplay, so bit of a cheap shot really
  • #6+7 why comment on my comment? I was making a valid point. I have played maybe 4 games on my 'next-gen' console that aren't available on my 360. 2 of those were launch games (Ryse and Dead Rising 3) and the other 2 were Crimson Dragon and Shite Suit Zero. Fucking pathetic IMO. Now go back to touching your uncle's special place and leave me be.

  • @12 or you could try playing more than 4 games... Your point wasn't that valid
  • #14 I have played more than 4 games fucktard. Titianfall,PvZ,Diablo,Watch Dogs,Guacamelee,Lego Marvel,FIFA 14,Pinball FX2,Max: The Curse of Brotherhood,Wolfenstein,Metal Gear Solid,Halo (the mobile phone game). My point was that of the games I have played only 4 have been truly 'next gen', so yes it was pretty valid.
  • @15 Sorry but any post that starts with an unwarranted attack is not 'valid' . I suggest you keep it civil or don't bother posting at all.
  • @11 I like to think of these titles as simple ports to a new console.People moan when titles are available on one console but not another. At the end if the day the value of these titles comes from the people willing to spend their money on them. It's like you wake up one morning with the developers frogmarching you to the store.
  • @18 damn the lack of edit button. Meant to say "It's not like you wake one morning with the developers frogmarching you to the stores"
  • I'm not bashing anyone but this is the reason you don't but these new consoles right away and with this next gen consoles is just really bad just constant re-releasing games with nothing added really.I myself plan on picking up a X1 for at least another year or even until 360 they stop making 360 games for both consoles..I got nothing wrong with X1 I love it looks great I've played it at a co workers pad but I just see the thing overheating and buying new one in like another year it looks like a old school VCR and that scares me!!! Lol. Still to all you cats who got a X1 rock on I hope your enjoying it,cool console
  • @11 360 and PS3 have another year in them" umm no way look at the sales ! There still out selling the new consoles you don't kill a moneymaking machine no one is that stupid
