UK studio Ninja Theory, the developer behind the likes of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DmC, has been lending its expertise in combat systems to Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition, Executive Producer, John Vignocchi has confirmed.
According to Vignocchi, Ninja Theory has been contributing to the game since February of this year, and was brought on board to help develop combat systems for characters including Loki, the Green Goblin and Guardians of the Galaxy villain, Ronan the Accuser, as well as Aladdin's Princess Jasmine, who will be able to summon a sand tornado in the game.
"The full name of the video game is 'Disney Infinity Marvel Super Heroes, open parentheses, 2.0 Edition, close parentheses," said Vignocchi.
Ninja Theory is also currently working on PlayStation 4 exclusive, Hellblade, announced at Gamescom 2014 in Cologne last month. Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition will be coming on September 19th in Europe and September 23rd in North America.
