Bandai Namco has delayed Dark Souls II's upcoming Crown of the Ivory King DLC. The final instalment in The Lost Crowns trilogy of add-ons was due to launch this week.

Instead, we’ll have to wait until one week later. The DLC will now be available from September 30th. No reason was given for the delay.

Dark Souls II’s DLC packs can be purchased either standalone for £7.99/$9.99 or as part of a season pass for £19.99/$24.99. Crown of the Sunken King and Crown of the Old Iron King launched earlier this summer.

  • Ah well, more time for D4 and Destiny. Will pick this up right away next week. Is there a season pass for 360 though? I thought it was only for PS3 and PC...
  • @1: I thought the same. There doesn't seem to be one for the 360, unfortunately.
  • Damn, I was looking forward to finding out what the reward is for holding all 4 crowns. The suspense is killing me, guess I'll just continue invade trolling for another week.
  • Yeah......i understand that alot of these news stories are just copy paste but cone on guys did you even realize what you're putting into your articles?
  • I reckon they might implement a season pass "after the fact", it was probably a deal with Sony that they'll bring to 360 in a month or two after this is released to bring in those who are still on the fence like me. I certainly hope so anyway.
  • "or as part of a season pass for £19.99/$24.99" Except... There is no season pass.
