Agree 100% with #7, great game on the DS but on the 360....Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:12 PM
i agree with 7 & 8. not sure if Meteos can be "handled" on the 360 to best of its abilities. I'm going to check out both demos for sure though.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:26 PM
I feel like i'll pass this week. Neither game really appeals to me.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:00 PM
At #4 Goldeneye will not be an Xbox Live arcade gamefor two reasons. One the game is too good to be an arcade game, and secondly that game was distributed between Rare and Nintendo on the Nintendo 64. So unless Bill Gates spronkles some money both there ways is won't be happening soon.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:16 PM
yet more xbox live overpriced junk. the only decent game of late was age of bootyMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:17 PM
At #11, well that, and the Bond License is owned by Activision now, so between that AND Nintendo and Rare parting ways, Goldeneye will never grace Xbox Live.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:28 PM
#11 like banjo kazooie you mean?Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:49 PM
#14 The game was published by Nintendo, but contains characters which are all owned by Rare. But as #13 says, this situation is much more complicated.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 05:18 PM
The day "Goldeneye" comes to XBLA would be the day that Xbox LIVE could claim superiority for the online markets, provided it was exclusive. I feel that "Goldeneye" would single-handed-ly win over the online community to Xbox, especially if it added in a Deathmatch mode!Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 05:28 PM
not buying either of 'emMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 06:01 PM
I thought Defense Grid was coming out this week? Will that be next week or anytime this year!!!Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 06:38 PM
Wonder if it's goodMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 07:26 PM
Meteos for $10 is a great deal. I wonder how it will work on the console though.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 07:49 PM
Meteos, w000000000000t I'm getting it day one.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 10:21 PM

bring an old donkey kong to xbla, like the old n64 one like they did for banjo and kazooi! they would make heaps off that not these shit games which only loners buyTuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 02:38 AM
they both have potential. . . to failTuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 03:55 AM
@25 When you said 'old Donkey Kong' I thought you actually meant old, like maybe the original 'Donkey Kong'. Also, only loners buy these games? What are you even talking about? Anyway, I think I'll be passing on both of these...Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 04:48 AM
when is lode runner or space invaders deluxe coming? been hearing about them for over a year and still nadaTuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 05:13 AM
Meh getting so bored of live now esp when there are so many good retail games. Dont get me wrong there is some quality like Rez, Ikuruga, Portal and some good old school like D.Dragon, Sensible soccer etc but its so rare we get quality.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 05:17 AM
Just a thought why dont M.S do a public vote say every say 3mts and ask 360owners ie people who buy the live games what they would most like to see ie Goldeneye etc (Sorry just realised that made perfect sense so no chance its gunna happen) ;)Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 08:11 AM
Two words EPIC FAIL on both smh.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 08:11 AM
PowerUp Forever looks neat, Meteos I'll have to try a demo of. It seems like it's more suited to the DS.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 10:36 AM
Meteos is stil one of the best DS games, so I'm really intrigued to see how it'll work on the 360. Try before you buy, I suppose.Wednesday, December 10, 2008 @ 01:26 PM
@33 No, it can't be. Ace Attorney for example is probably a lot better.

Heading our way this Xbox Live Wednesday are two titles, each 800 Microsoft points; Meteos Wars and PowerUp Forever. Short and sweet this week; game info incoming.
PowerUp Forever from Namco.com:
"Survive! Assimilate! Evolve!
In PowerUp Forever you have to grow to survive – and to grow you must destroy! Hunt and defeat enemy Guardians to harvest their glowing energy cores, gaining power to grow your ship and expand your weaponry. As you evolve you attract the attentions of ever-larger enemies, and your fight for survival goes on."
Meteos Wars from Xbox.com:
"Take a ride through an intergalactic journey where you slide, stack, and ignite your blocks to blast away the world-ending Meteos. Only you can stop them from falling and crushing your planet! Master combo links and power-ups to challenge your friends in intense multiplayer sessions.
Puzzle games don't get any better than Meteos Wars, where the story, situation, and environments formulate an explosive adventure."
