NoMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 02:50 PM
why did they decide to make him turn into a beast thing? don't know or haven't heard the whole story behind it. just think that its a little bizarre. not sure if i'll like this new twist or not.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 02:56 PM
i dont know about you, but what i know, is that the game is cool... all the people that have the game, love itMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 02:59 PM
Except me Bruno, ha ha.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:03 PM
Finally a demo of a size fitting a demo. Good thing, too, because that game is really an "I-on't-know-maybe"-caseMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:05 PM
sonic, crash bandicoot,mario.. to me are all dead they were only good back in the day.. maybe not so much mario. but in my eyes he isMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:08 PM
Might try it out. For those who judge a game based on reviews and won't play the game because it got bad reviews may like said game.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 03:45 PM
The game isn't that bad. Don't let the stupid reviewers fool you. As long as you can get the game at a good cheap price, it's def. worth it.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:29 PM
Amen Webb - The fast paced Sonic parts are stunning but there isn't enough of them and too much shocking gameplay inbetween to make the game playable.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:33 PM
Who caresMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:33 PM
Can I just say off-topic, that Sonic has similarities to DragonBall Z. SuperSonic = Super Sayain Werehog = Uzaru/Great Ape 7 Chaos Emeralds = 7 Dragonballs Tails = Anoying sidekick who dies alot Knuckles = Bad guy gone good See what I mean?Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 04:44 PM
this game sucks! sonic was good in the day! but this game takes the piss! so fast moving u dont see what ur suposed to do! my son whos 7 said eeew half way thru first level! good job demo came out other wise would have thrown 40 pounds in the bin!Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 05:02 PM
Haha the game's fine. I personally think the werehog is fun as well. Not the best in his class but not bad at all! I personally think bad reviews are just from butthurt fans who can't stand new things. If you go in fresh you'll more then likely enjoy it, at the least. "It's not like the old ones!" I agree, I remember when I was younger playing through all three of them and becoming a master of every little secret in em'. To me, this game is a great show of the older games in the series with it's perfect blend of speed and platforming. Truth be told x360a reviewers need to go play the old ones for a moment, they had plenty of stop moving fast and jump around parts. Haha werehog actually just feels like a 3D beat em up sonic gen. level imo. (/wall of text) tl;dr, the game's fun, give itMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 05:07 PM
This game either causes seriously split opinions, or most reviewers seem to know shit. I think it's a good game, around 80%-83%ish.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 05:38 PM
SE-GA...Memories,might pick this up.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 06:18 PM
DeafSunchaser: You listen to 7 Year Old kids opinions? Retard. If its too fast for you, then perhaps you should give up videogames grandpa? Shits fun, its you and your shitty kid that sucks.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 06:43 PM
This game is freeMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 07:40 PM
why cant they do what they did with megaman a classic type sonic game would be greatMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 09:24 PM
Sure, I'll try the demo. I bet it's one of the non-werehog stages so they can trick into thinking it doesn't suck as much ass as it does, though.Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 10:14 PM
Willing to give it a try, didnt look too bad. :)Monday, December 08, 2008 @ 10:25 PM
Rather not after SONIC came out for 360 haven't had interestMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 10:42 PM
they should release sonic adventure on xbox live arcade! game was fucking AMAZINGMonday, December 08, 2008 @ 10:54 PM
I would only get it if it had a mode where you dont have to play the werehog... the hedgehog parts were fun though.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 12:07 AM
Anyone download this? Is it worth wasting our time. How much do they let you play?Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 01:12 AM
Yeah, the last sonic game for 360 was so bad, Im not even going to play the free demo. Besides, there is too much shit available to play for me to even consider sonic.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 01:37 AM
I love the way this demo has no werehog levels, haha =]Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 02:35 AM
i would like to try this game outTuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 02:38 AM
Bloody hell it's quick! Never been a fan of Sonic, but for £20 it might be worth getting for over Xmas, after all, what's £20 these days, not a lot!Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 02:46 AM
Demo is a bit dodgy if you ask me... they only show the daytime levels... clearly avoiding the levels people have been complaining about....Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 07:24 AM
Do not get this game, I rented it and didn't even bother getting any achievements before I sent it back. It has good points but the bad points out weigh them all drastically. It's better on the Wii. The werehog sections last 3-4 times longer then the actually sonic stages. The controls are sometimes unresponsive and hit or miss. The camera is dodgey. The whole point of Sonic is he's a fast hedgehog, they've gone away from what makes Sonic fun. Even the sonic stages leaves you either falling off or a complete slow down when it's not needed or you end up flying past enemies.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 08:06 AM
Well, I was right. Just one hedgehog level. They left the werehog nonsense out of the demo. But even the hedgehog level is pretty bad. It suffers from the same problem as Sonic Advance 2 and Sonic Rush: it's too damn fast for its own good. You don't see traps or walls until after you've run into them. I'll just play my Sonic Mega Collection instead, thank you very much. *deletes Sonic Unleashed demo from HDD*Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 08:55 AM
seriously....the only people that think Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast was good have to have been about 9-12 years of age, never have played a sonic game on the genesis, or have never played a quality game preceeding their Sonic Adventure "experience". Sorry, I know its off the subject of this thread but when I see people post to bring back Sonic to his "glory days" on the Dreamcast...i literally wanna shit myself. The Dreamcast days are exactly when Sonic took a nose dive. It sad to see people nostalgic for a game that sucked sooo hard.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 10:08 AM
Sonic in 3D = Epic Fail!Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 01:10 PM
I personally welcome the "werehog" sonic, reminds me of Lanky and Chunky from Donkey Kong 64 mixed together.Tuesday, December 09, 2008 @ 04:01 PM
played the demo, there is absolutley no control over sonic holy crap, and you don't even get to play as that wherewolf thing and thats probably the worst levels of the game. dear god why don't that just make another adventure battle with the chao garden? that was so much funSunday, December 21, 2008 @ 01:50 AM
lol

The latest demo on the Marteplace is none other than Sonic's latest adventure; Sonic Unleashed. Weirdly though, the demo weighs in at a paltry 186.51 MBs which kind of makes me think whether this is a demo, or more of a "we'll show you a little bit of the good to lure you in." Don't be fooled folks! Take a peek though, it may take your liking.
For those in the UK interested in the title; Sonic Unleashed is Gamestation's deal of the week and until December 14th, it can be found for under £20 ... Yet, it's still hard to recommend to anyone at that price.
