Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has received an official price cut in Europe, lowering the recommended retail price tag for the boxed console versions to £19.99/€19.99.

It's the perfect time to get involved with the prologue ahead of the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain then, or you can just use the game's Cuban prison camp to hone your stealth skills.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is available at the lower price point now in Europe for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3, and The Phantom Pain is due to launch in 2015.

  • 19,99 is the price I payed for this game back in april on demand for 360.
  • Excellent, should make second hand copies even cheaper! £10 I might give it a try.
  • This is still only the price I paid for my X1 copy on release day.
  • That caption. XD
  • Worst new gen game I've played.
  • I got this for £9.99 on disc and didn't hate it but found it very repetitive for the 1000g has such a small play area which just randomises the enemy spawns depending on the mission. Not worth £20 in my opinion
  • The rewards... child rape... think about it
  • 5 dollars on black friday and it's mine.
  • shouldnt have to pay for a demo
  • Im still convinced it will be either free, bundled, or extremely cheap with MGS 5: Phantom Pain. I would actually be surprised if some retailers didn't have it as a pre-order incentive.
