AC: Rogue is $35, and Shadow of Mordor (Xbox One) is $25 on US Amazon site right now for anyone interested.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:21 PM
... Am I the only one looking through the Game sale and seeing just ordinary prices for the various things (for the most part)?Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:24 PM
anyone no if the shadow of mordor will stay 24 quid till tomorrow.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:35 PM
@4 Nope, even I'm dissapointed that these don't look like much of dealsThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:35 PM
Gonna have to wait out that South park dealThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:40 PM
@4 Agreed. I'm not seeing anything stand out here.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:45 PM
Can't help but laugh at Game... Even on sale they charge more than other companies charge normally.. How they are still in business is beyond meThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:52 PM
@9 i know - like Games - metro delux and zavvis metro delux, they need to go not changed at all, there like ubisoft in retail form..............Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:53 PM
GAME deals aren't great barring a few. Shadow or Mordor is a steal at £24.99 (even better if you can find the Special Edition, it's sold out online but some stores have stock). The Halo MCC is also the GAME Exclusive Edition that comes with a steelbook, map book and DLC - so the price is actually not too bad (steelbook is pretty nice). Call of Duty AW: Atlus Edition is also a decent deal at £39.99. Cheaper than the standard version at most other sites and comes with a steelbook (again, it's like their main thing it seems), some physical gubbins and a bunch of DLC. That Far Cry 4 set at £73 is a joke though, just two DLC packs and some crappy items (keyring and a bobble head). You can get the Kryat Edition (which has the big statue) for £1 less, so I have no idea what they were smoking with that price. They are meant to be doing an Xbox One for £299.00 at midnight - with Forza 5, AC: Unity, AC: Black Flag and LEGO Marvel, plus £5 MS Credit. So that's not bad (all games bar Marvel are digital). But it goes live at midnight and is limited so I've no doubt it will sell out in seconds and everyone will be pissed off, ha ha! Hopefully some better deals actually show up tomorrow.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 02:56 PM
Looking to get Shadows of Mordor and The Evil WithinThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 03:02 PM
I sometimes look at these trends we try to copy from the Americans (who actually do Black Friday amazingly well) and it makes me cringe to be british, the deals over here dont even compare to some of the retailers over there, cos were greedy twats. Look at the state of GAMES deals, what a bunch of fucks, their still dearer than some of the other places at normal rates lmao.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 03:21 PM
Looked at Shadows of Mordor and Sleeping Dogs from Game at £25 and £30. Checked on Amazon and they're both £25...awkward.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 03:29 PM
Went to get tropico 5 from zavvi.....£5 postage fee, no thanksThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 03:37 PM
Apart from a few exceptions nothing amazingly low really. Can't believe some GAME stores are opening at midnight to sell things about £5 less than normal.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 03:38 PM
@13 it's not Friday yet... But I do agree on the most part. Amazon is particularly pathetic in the UK, and you think they would have a good idea how to handle it properly... @14 Amazon pretty much price check everyone else... Especially GAME. @15 Zavvi always offer free postage on all orders in the UK (no matter the value), so I'm not sure where you get £5 from... And if your not in the UK how can you expect them to ship to you for free without loosing money?!Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 04:27 PM
Apparently GAME are announcing there main Black Friday deals tonite at 6pm. Hopefully they will have some decent ones as I have a lot of credit still for themThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 05:27 PM
Lol! GAME's sale price is still more expensive than most retailers normal price.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 06:43 PM
well they announced an xbox one with assassins creed black flag, unity, forza 5 and lego marvel for £299 that's quiet goodThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 06:46 PM
oh and £5 off xbox credit aswellThursday, November 27, 2014 @ 07:18 PM
"LEGO The Hobbit (Xbox One) - £24.99" I paid £17.50 for it from GAME two weeks ago... Maybe in the world GAME live in, stores put their prices up on Black Friday.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 07:32 PM
So with other nations starting to dot he Black Friday sales, will they ever get as chaotic like the Americans ones? Stampedes, fights, etc. It is insanity/.Thursday, November 27, 2014 @ 10:16 PM
Assassins Creed Rogue for £24.99 will do nicely for meFriday, November 28, 2014 @ 06:20 AM
@23 Unless other countries start selling 55" crap tv's for $300 at Walmart, then probably not. It actually wasn't THAT bad up until a few years ago when the retailers started having ridiculous sales starting on Thanksgiving day.Friday, November 28, 2014 @ 11:10 AM
@4 that's usually the point of these Black Friday sales, raise prices like a month before so they seem cheaper now. Oh and also, for people to fight over really cheaply made tv's and other cheaply made stuff thinking its a "good deal" .. Until it breaks like 3 days later!Friday, November 28, 2014 @ 02:04 PM
Well i tried a few times today just to see what's on offer on game's website and its been down all day. Most of these deals will be cheaper after Xmas anyway.

With it being rather quiet today, what with today bringing turkey and pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving for our US friends, we thought we'd round up some of the big retailer's Black Friday deals for the UK. Amazon.co.uk has been holding a week-long selection of deals, but as we approach Black Friday proper, we can probably expect something big.
We've tried to round up the biggest and best bargains for you below, but we'll update this post with more. So stay tuned. Note that some deals have yet to go live. For those, we've listed the times to hit up the links and get shopping for a bargain.
Enjoy.
