Neverwinter: Strongholds will be coming in early November, adding yet another expansion to the seemingly ever-growing Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe, with a derelict keep to reclaim from the wild with your fellow guild members.

Rebuilding the keep into a fortified stronghold, you'll be able to do battle and gather resources to customise and fortify your new home against enemy threats. "Build defences both in and around strongholds using structures like archer towers to fend off attackers, while building siege structures to increase their ability to wage war against enemy guilds in the all new Siege PVP game mode, also available at launch," the press releases says.

Strongholds Siege will enable players to fight battles combining two strongholds maps to double the scale and create the largest map ever built. A three-lane battlefield will support 20v20 MOBA-style combat, with the ultimate objective to destroy your rival's guild hall. Upon claiming the enemy keep, you can then work to solidify your territory across the Sword Coast.

Neverwinter: Strongholds will bring yet another expansion to Neverwinter on Xbox One from 3rd November 2015.

  • Hopefully people outside of guilds can have a keep.
  • @1 I was thinking the same thing. "Wow! This looks awesome...except I'm not in a guild."
  • If you're not in a (big) guild, then you're out of luck, at least on the PC, and I doubt they'll bother with adding anything for the XB1... I guess Protectors Enclave will be filled with mostly AD-selling spammers by the end of the year :(
  • This game is too addicting lol...
  • @3 It already is...
  • @ #6: If you decide to try it out, do not buy any Zen (in-game currency) at the moment, the way things are going right now, I will be surprized if the game is still populated in a few months. Two months ago, before the Elemental Evil update, this game was great, lots of dungeons and people, and it was just a great, fun game. Now, there is less content than ever, lots of bugs that go unfixed, and really shady/dumb stunts pulled by the developer...
  • Also, be prepared for a lot of "server not responding" messages, I just got disconnected for the 5th time today, and that's in 40 minutes of playing...
