They really are milking this series to death.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:10 PM
omg, AC2 and brotherhood would be amaazing in 1080p, 60fps AND with a new achievement list.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:15 PM
Honestly, I'll happily do the first four games again. I and III would be a bit of a drag (especially III) but I love the series.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:16 PM
@1 oh my lord quit fucking bitching. Nobody is forcing you to buy assassins creed. Some people still haven't played it. That being said, I really hope they make this a thing. Day one purchase for me, if it ever exists.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:24 PM
@5 I'm pretty sure it's been quite common with remasters like the handsome collection is in 1080p, 60fpsMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:26 PM
@1: I agree with you.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:32 PM
im not bothered about the others but i would love an xbox one version of AC2.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:32 PM
Like I always say more Assassins Creed will always be welcomed with open arms with me, but as for any game that's out that has a series which is pretty much every game now Adays there will always be someone who cries and complains about the franchise supposedly being "milked" ...cry about it some more cause no one cares if you think it's being milked or not.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:35 PM
Take away the MP and count me in.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:41 PM
I would be perfectly fine with an Ezio Collection remastered to look like Syndicate or Unity. Would be perfectly fine with a Mass Effect Remaster too. Those are the only 2 remastered collections I need.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:43 PM
Are we sure this isn't referencing the collection of all three Chronicles games?Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:45 PM
All those collectibles again. I just hope they don't include the multiplayer achievements.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:45 PM
I bet this is the Ezio trilogy, or the Desond Saga.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:49 PM
Could also be a collection of BC versions of all the 360 Creeds...Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:53 PM
I think Ubisoft would flog the guy flogging the dead horse at this stage.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:53 PM
@10 and 13 I came to post the same thing. Sure, leave it in, but make it truly optional for completion - I have 100% across the board in AC games, but the only reason I ever played multiplayer was for the achievements. I'd hate to have to play it ever again.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 03:55 PM
i wouldnt mind playing 3 again, as mine did the glitch on the bird part where i couldnt proceed any further, but i have lost interest overall in this franchise, i think they should of gone the original route from AC and had just a trilogy building upto a modern day game, black flag was good, but it got annoying jumping off the ship to go get a collectable then swimming back.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:00 PM
My money is on the 360 games including Rogue, assuming it's not just the side scroller.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:05 PM
haha jesus! people like @4 & @9 get their feelings hurt real easy if they are crying over people saying Ubi are milking this series to fuck. If you are begging to play games from 2008 again get your fuckin 360 out or better yet use the XB1 compatibility to play it. No wonder game developers and publishers think they can get away with rehashing a game from 08 slapping a 1080p remaster badge and charging £25 for it with pussies like you drippin from the lips for an already done and dusted series.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:07 PM
I'd love to play 1 and 2+brotherhood again. 3 not so much.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:18 PM
Pass. Loved these games and the time I spent with them (well; not with AC3), but my backlog is long enough without treading this ground again. Good for those who missed them on last gen, though.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:24 PM
I really hope this is real, i would love to play all the AC games again. Unlocking all the achievements again should be fun as long as they don't include the awful multiplayer ones.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:33 PM
Wouldn't mind this at all not one bitMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:41 PM
I would love a redone version of the first game! You know, with updated controls and combat etc. The middle east setting was amazing too, i preferred that setting to all of the othersMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 04:42 PM
I really liked the multiplayer though, just make it easier to play with friends. But I think that I - III plus Rogue will be good remastered (including Brotherhood and Revelations), because they were Assassin's Creed's 360 only titles. It'll be cool if they do something like TMCC and there's a 6,000G achievement list. I'll definitely get it. :-DMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 05:02 PM
Yes, because 3 assassin's creed games on xbox one just isn't enough!!! And @4 no, I don't have to buy it and I won't but every time people buy this stuff the publisher thinks it's ok to keep ripping people off buying the same games over and over again rather than making something new!Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 05:18 PM
I notice how everyone on this article gets thumbs down. I didnt realise people were not allowed their own opinion anymore! I agree with most other on here that assassins creed has outstayed its welcome abit like call of duty, but people still buy it so some people must enjoy them. I personally gave up after brotherhood.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 05:38 PM
Would definitely buy this. Assassin's Creed and Bioshock are the 2 franchises that I would love the most to get remastered for X1.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 05:41 PM
I knew this would happen one day I'm happy as LarryMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 06:44 PM
Nice! Wonder if the X1 and controller will get AC style, like with the Forza/Halo/Gears bundles. X1 would look pretty wallet draining in that white/red and AC logo.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 07:04 PM
Bring it on! I'd love to go back to the earlier Assassin's Creeds before the franchise went to shit.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 07:08 PM
Halo MCC was the only exception for getting a remaster collection.. but i'll make a 2nd exception for AC (if it gets the HD/FPS/new cheevo list treat) .. just a bundle of all games for the 360 is a skip as i already have all of themMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 07:38 PM
Not sure I'd pick this up, I reckon the only collection I'd get would be a GTA collection, now that I'd buy in a heartbeat & might explain why Rockstar are so reluctant to release them on BC.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 08:31 PM
They can milk the Ezio trilogy 20 years from now for all I care. Assassins Creed Brotherhood is one of my favorite games of all time. They can hold off on AC 1 and 3 though I loved the first game as a one time thing Is was painstakingly repetitive and tedious. Then Connor was just a plain boring protagonist.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 09:49 PM
They can milk it all they want I'll be right there waiting for release tooMonday, December 14, 2015 @ 10:10 PM
Assassins Creed Collection Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered Splinter Cell collection Can't think of anything else I need.Monday, December 14, 2015 @ 10:22 PM
I wouldn't be too bothered by Brotherhood, but the others would be gladly welcomed! Hopefully, if they do this, it'll be released during the quiet time of year, otherwise I think I'd overlook it to be honest... As long as it's decently priced, I'm game!Tuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 01:32 AM
Oh god can you imagine, playing the first two games again, with all new achievements, it would literally blow my mind.Tuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 04:01 AM
It's utterly amazing to me, the amount of people who come to a news thread to bitch about something they have no interest in. What a waste of time! I played "Assassin's Creed" (1), getting ALL the achievements in ONE WEEK (a friend loaned me the game)! A couple of years later... I bought my own copy, and played it all the way through a second time (I even collected 80% of the flags, as I came across them). I have no problem playing the games - AGAIN... especially if it looks more awesome, and I get new achievements!!!Tuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 07:24 AM
@5 Wow. People like you still exist? You do know the Xbox One has been capable of 1080p 60fps since launch right? Screw the gameplay and content though, because those two numbers are so much more important right?Tuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 10:19 AM
Seeing as how I only played I & II, I'd be down forna collection.Tuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 03:19 PM
Honestly I don't have the time or money to redo all the last-gen achievements. Before I crossed over to Xbox, I even had them done on PS3. No more :'( lolTuesday, December 15, 2015 @ 08:34 PM
@43 I wouldn't shut the door on games you've played before - IF you liked them enough to play again. I totally understand the not enough time to play games, and cost figures in too, sometimes. However, after some time passes... some games - even A-list titles, end up being in the Games for Gold program. I'd hope you'd get those (at least start the D/L process, to own the license for it) and play them when you have the time. I don't always play games for achievements... as I don't get anything from playing my Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GBA SP, or even my ColecoVision - except the joy of playing the games on those (which IS the sole reason we play video games - right?!). I think remastering games for Xbox One is fine - especially if the publisher hasn't (or won't) make the 360 versions BC for X1. Then, again... if it costs very little to remaster the games, but turns a good profit... hopefully that will fund the next new IP for those game publishers!!Thursday, December 17, 2015 @ 02:20 AM
Wow @20 is a real piece of shit. Fuck yourself, ill pay fucking $60 to do my part so developers know there are people out there who still enjoy older games, and would have a good time getting all the achievements again. Speaking of hurt feelings, did your fucking tampon overflow? Christ, you're just a big bottle of acid waiting to tip over on the nearest person that doesn't agree with you. So have a nice day,and go ahead and eat a big sloppy bag of dicks.Thursday, December 17, 2015 @ 03:01 AM
@45 I suggest you maybe look up the word hypocrite in the dictionary chum, and maybe a little bit less red meat in the diet huh?

Ubisoft has registered a domain under the name of Assassin’s Creed Collection, sparking speculation that a remastered compilation of the series may be on its way.
NeoGAF user Eskim spotted the registration, capturing an image of the listing and noting that the website is not live just yet. The site was registered on December 12th.
Of course, Assassin’s Creed Collection may not even be a game. It could be a collection of series branded clothing like the Metal Gear Solid Collection. But I doubt it.
We’ll bring more info and an official announcement, as and when it comes.
