Nice, but this game has too many expert achieves for my liking.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:21 PM
Sweet...without a doubt the heaviest set list. Although I doubt it would happen, I would like the tracks to be cross compatible. Although that is more of a dream than a reality. Nice list of achieves and seems like I am gonna be working on this game for awhile.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:17 PM
Ugh the drummer still looks like an animated robot. It still looks stupid. But other than that, most of graphics look better than before :pMonday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:25 PM
@ #1 what you can't play expert?? this will be the best game by far all they've ever needed was metallicaMonday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:33 PM
guitar hero: metallica is a hardcore guitar game! thats why this got a lot of expert achievementsMonday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:35 PM
@4 I prefer not to (:Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:36 PM

social distortion is in a metallica game...Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 03:47 PM
So no Dave Mustaine,Cliff Burton or Jason Newsted characters?Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 04:00 PM
The only songs that we know are cross compatible is the Death Magnetic albumMonday, March 02, 2009 @ 04:09 PM
@7 You should be able to if you have another pedal. RB2's kit comes with an expansion port for another pedal.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 04:36 PM
King Diamond! that is the only reason im buying it.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 04:52 PM
Man i cannot wait for this. Im ready to rock out some metallica on expert now! I think im gonna have to go play some Enter Sandman on Rock Band now.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 04:49 PM
Looking forward to Master Of Puppets!Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 05:13 PM
Can't wait. my landlord will not be getting any piece and quiet for a few days. gonna turn the volume way up on the 400 watt SonyMonday, March 02, 2009 @ 05:04 PM
@9 No ='( @1 But don't you feel a greater sense of ACHIEVEment when you can actually reach that goal? Either way, any expert achievement can be reached by FCing the song on medium with starpower.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 05:50 PM

this is going to be awesome. Can't wait to play fade to black.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 07:25 PM
This game is a must buy for me.Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 08:13 PM
since GH:WT was a fail in my opinion im not getting this if it was guitar only then it would be different, shame they screwed up on world tour :s .Monday, March 02, 2009 @ 11:42 PM
Heres the deal. I disliked GH:Aerosmith, and hated World Tour. I do love Metallica, however, so I will be getting this. But, that being said, if it disappoints, it'll be the last Guitar Hero title I buy -- I'll just start putting the money into Rock Band DLC instead.Tuesday, March 03, 2009 @ 01:48 AM
With a lay-off imminent, I at least know how to spend all that spare time...Tuesday, March 03, 2009 @ 06:37 AM
after the trash that was world tour i keep telling myself that im not even going to play this game, but i know for a fact that im going to at least rent this just to see how bad/good it really is. also is it really true that they are including an expert plus mode? cause if that's true then this will make the over charted tracks of gh3 look like rock band which does seem like it could be fun.Tuesday, March 03, 2009 @ 08:04 AM
expert + is only for drums i think, double paddle in lars ulrich style ^^Thursday, March 05, 2009 @ 07:56 PM
I think that Expert+ is also on guitar... but that may be that new Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits one. That sounds so dumb to me- Expert+- wouldn't "Master" be a more apt name? Especially for this game.

There is no doubting that the Metallica signing by Activision was a pretty major coup for the industry powerhouse. Where else can you find one of the biggest names in rock and a franchise that is becoming as household as Coca Cola coming together? Well apart from Rock Band's upcoming Beatles' title ... nowhere, ha.
The title, due out the end of March in North America and in May in Europe, is set to be rocking living rooms worldwide and the two latest trailers from Activision give a brief inside look in to some of the songs in the game, a bit more of a look at the visuals and even a few brief glimpses of some note charts. Are you ready to rock?
