Following Xbox Italy's leaked The Division Open Beta date from last week, Ubisoft has today officially confirmed that The Division's Open Beta will indeed kick off on 19th February, with pre-loading available across all platforms from 16th February. Xbox One players will get exclusive 24-hour early access on 18th February.

In the Open Beta, you'll get to explore New York City in the middle of a viral pandemic once more before the game launches in March. "This beta will test the game systems further, and provide player feedback that will benefit the game experience at launch," the press release states.

An all-new story mission will also be included in The Division's Open Beta, so if you got everything you could out of the Closed Beta, there's ample incentive to return for a second visit to New York. Users participating in the Open Beta will also receive a special in-game reward that will be unlocked in the full game.

The Division Open Beta will run from 19th February until 21st February (from 18th February on Xbox One). Check out the new trailer below for the lowdown on the enemy factions you'll encounter when The Division launches for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 8th March 2016.
