  • I have feel this game going better then Battleborn for multiplayer wise. :) :)
  • Everyone REALLY liked this game. That and Blizzard's involvement is enough to warrant a look...once it's released. I don't do betas. =P
  • @1: From what I've seen, they seem like totally different games and playstyles. Not sure comparisons are fair.
  • @ #3 Because people think cartoony graphics = same game apparently.
  • This is NOTHING like Battleborn. The comparisons need to end. I realize both games have non-descript titles and are released in the same month, but one is a hackneyed MOBA and the other is shaping up to be the best new IP FPS in years. I wish they'd given us the option to pre-download. This will probably take hours to finally be able to play.
  • @5 there is if you pre ordered. You just gotta search for it. I found it by typing overwatch beta.
  • @6 I'm on the PS4 unfortunately, but I'll check to see if the option's there as well. The X1 interface is much easier to use.
  • #3 Of course I understand but you know both Battleborn and this game got ton of hero characters to choose from in multiplayer and it seem to me both play fairly similar but not whole gameplay as both look bit different in other hand.
  • @6 thanks for the heads up. My snail paced Internet would have taken an age on the day. Got it downloading now (nice and slowly)
  • They're both moba fps games they're very similar if you plated them both you'd noticed just how similar they are
  • @#10 overwatch isn't a moba
  • @ #10 If you "plated" both, you would realise Overwatch is not a MOBA.
  • @10 I played Battleborn and have watched dozens of hours of footage of Overwatch. They are similar insofar as you can shoot things and their color palettes aren't dull. And that's where the similarity ends.
  • I can not find this on the store at all and I have pre-orederd it ages ago.
  • Every game reviewer, and some of the devs our calling overwatch a MOBA HYBRID....just so yous know.
  • @15 you've read every review for the game? On the official overwatch site it makes no mention of it being a moba, it sounds nothing like a moba and looks nothing like a moba...because it isn't a moba, if people are calling it a moba they have never actually played one
  • @11 Is Battleborn a MOBA though? Seems like anything with a multiplayer mode and abilities is being called a MOBA nowadays.
  • @16 Tell me 5 things overwatch has that a so called REAL MOBA dont? The game is a hybrid moba. Im not hatin on it iv had my collectors edition pre-ordered for along time now. But you cant say its a full on moba and you cant say its not. THATS WHY THERE CALLING IT A ( HYBIRD ). It has so so so many MOBA! elements....SO MUCH to the point you cant help but think your playing a MOBA. Then it has that FPS feel. Think half lifes MP style. Regardless if you agree or not. It has enough MOBA! elements to be called a MOBA! and it has enough FPS to be called a FPS. Now you get why there calling it a HYBRID!!? do i need to post a link for you? Heres 1) http://www.bidnessetc.com/58462-overwatch-a-hybrid-child-of-fps-and-moba/ Heres 2)https://www.vg247.com/2016/04/04/take-a-look-at-overwatchs-tracer-in-heroes-of-the-storm/ Heres 3) http://www.technologypep.com/overwatch-review-a-cross-between-a-moba-and-an-fps.html Ok DONE!
  • @18: Overwatch doesn't have lanes, bases, construction, creeps, jungling, resources, towers, or and scaled-down RTS elements. Those are all characteristics which make a MOBA…well, a MOBA. It's a team-based FPS. There's nothing "hybrid" that it has which Team Fortress didn't. You said "it has so many MBA elements." Can you please list some examples?
  • Trying to get in on the PS4, keep getting the same error: Searching for game server…Failed to connect to game server. Please try again later. Anyone having luck?
  • @18 what elements of a moba does it have? The guy below you listed what it does have, I'm playing the overwatch beta now and it's not a moba
  • #18 Frankie just destroyed your position. Overwatch is not a MOBA...like, at all. I'm playing the beta right now. This is a team based hero shooter, period. And a damn fine one at that.
  • @22 not sure smoke has even played, if he had he would know it's not even close to being a moba
  • It's amazing so far. Giving us every character and mode was the way to go. Blizzard knows how to win over customers, and this time is no different.
