EA has announced that EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will be the next game to tee off in The Vault via EA Access next week, adding yet another of its sports titles to an ever-growing number that includes recent addition FIFA 16, as well as Madden NFL 16, NHL 16 and a bunch of older ones.

EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is the first game to bear the McIlroy name, following Tiger Woods being dropped as the face of EA's golf series. It's also the first to appear on Xbox One, and it's a bit below par. It's certainly worth playing if you have an EA Access subscription, however.

An EA Access subscription costs $4.99/£3.99 per month, or you can get a full year's membership for $29.99/£23.99, getting 10% off EA games and DLC, as well as full access to all of the games in The Vault. EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will hit The Vault in EA Access on 10th May.

  • Can't complain, doubt ill play it tho. Any one have anything good to say?
  • It plays ok but is pretty stripped down. The career achievements are very easy and should only take a couple of hours but the biggest part of the game is the mini-games, a few of them are a bit tricky and there are far too many which get very repetitive but it is a simple enough 1000g and plays well for multiplayer games
  • Don't care much for golf...still waiting for Need For Speed before I renew my vault sub.
  • Finally! Been waiting for this since I maxed out my 10-hour trial back in July. It'll be good to be able to polish off the remaining achievements.
  • I liked the game well enough, but as people said it's pretty stripped down. And what's with EA releasing ANY new courses or anything after release ?! This games screams for DLC. Tiger Woods had it in droves but I think EA is just letting this wither on the vine.
