Stainless Games and publisher Sold Out have announced that Carmageddon: Max Damage has been delayed into July, allowing the development team "extra time to give the game a final polish before delivery and ensure it's the best it can be for a new audience of console gamers."
As well as a new July release date, today also sees a new pre-order offer for the game go live, offering two extra player cars: the 'Tez Eagle' and the 'Iron Hawk', four skins (two additional paintjobs for each of the two bonus cars), and a digital comic called 'Where Eagles Die', when you pre-order the boxed retail edition of Carmageddon: Max Damage.
Carmageddon: Max Damage will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on 8th July, offering the usual gore-laden, vehicular carnage that the series is know for. That means running over pedestrians as they run for their lives, while collecting power-ups across surreal environments. Read all about it in our preview here and get some new screenshots here.
