Publisher 505 Games and developer Kunos Simulazioni have announced that Assetto Corsa, its lovely looking racing sim, has been delayed once again.

Having slipped from its initial April release date into June, the game now won't be coming until August. Presumably, this latest delay will allow Kunos Simulazioni to apply a little extra polish to its racer, although no reason was actually given in the update posted on the game's Facebook page.

That said, when we last played it in January of this year, the game was looking in pretty fine shape, as you can see in our gameplay video below. Assetto Corsa will now be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 26th August 2016 in Europe and 30th August in North America.

  • Good its better to delay then to put out a game with problems. Also any delay is good right now as i'll get more time with this then then june as i still have a huge backlog.
  • PROJECT CARS was delayed a few times and look how that turned out!!!!!
  • Smell another project cars :/
  • Forza 7 will be out before this finally does
  • Man this makes me lose interest in this game. To many delays usually a bad sign.
