I have both games and have been trying to get one last achievement in each game. I'll get this again.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 12:29 PM
I didn't want to throw this opinion in the article, and I almost NEVER say this, but I'll be waiting for a sale on these. Remakes like this should be $20-25 per game in my opinion, so if the bundle hits $40 I think that's a great price.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 12:42 PM
it doesnt say either if all the last dlc from both games would be in there also....will it be just the vanilla game or will it be both gold editions in one package?Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 12:44 PM
any DLC on these...? Never played the second one. Def want them both for Xbone, but not quite at that price.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 12:45 PM
@3: While that wasn't mentioned in the announcement, I do remember seeing leaked trophy lists now that included the DLC. It wasn't confirmed, but I would say it's more than likely all DLC will be included. That's pretty standard for ports/remakes this gen.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 01:04 PM
Can't we get X-men Legends :( Miss those games.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 01:46 PM
@5 it would be a safe bet to say the dlc will be added with what happened on the 360 version, as for me if the team behind the port did it right and got rid of the damn game ending glitches like the disappearing heroes and costumes in mua 1Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 01:58 PM
While I loved both these games, I won't be getting them again at that price. I recently replayed MUA2 with my daughters and they loved it. Super keen for #3 though, if its still Raven.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 02:14 PM
I loved both these games but this seems like some random rush job and digital only is weird. I want to see gameplay and such before I buy.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 02:41 PM
Well would you look at that. Activision releases more overpriced remasters. And just like prototype and deadpool, they will most likely be a ports, not remasters. Nice try, Hacktivision.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 02:43 PM
I'm skeptical of how good this will be. And that's a lot of money to drop. Have to wait and see gameplay and a sale before I buy these.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 03:10 PM
Again another remake, this console will have more remake games then new games. Where is the creativity in video games industry? If I want to play these games, I just have to start my Xbox 360 or in the majority of the case Xbox One with retro compatibility. Why paying 60$ when I get both games for 10$ each on Xbox Live.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 03:34 PM
As someone who played these games to death, I would much rather see a third game in the series, preferably one that picks up where the first one left off since they completely ignored that story when they did UA2. At $60, this is an absolute joke for games that have been out as long as these have. They're great games, but I'd wait for that price to drop significantly before biting. And if I'm really campaigning for a new game, it'd be a third X-Men Legends game. One can hope.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 03:34 PM
While I do love these games and have been waiting for this I too cannot justify that price for a couple of remakes. Especially when it sound like they're pretty much a port with just a few touch ups.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:02 PM
well would you look at that. @10 has something negative to say. oh sorry i forgot you are a champion of justice for the consumer. guess im spending 60 on tuesday. if @10 thinks its a bad deal or a money grub it is 99% likely that this will be an awesome remaster that is worth every penny.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:08 PM
Damn, I was really hoping for these to go BC. I bought them on sale after getting my XOne, haven't even installed them on my 360 yet cause not used it since.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:14 PM
...so we are supposed to pay $60 for 2 games that are minor upgrades to the original games that came out years ago.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA GOOD ONE XDSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:16 PM
@15 Well shit son considering pretty much every other comment says the same thing what does that say? Haters gonna hate ;)Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:19 PM
Seeing as I never played these, as per usual I'm very happy to see this and can't wait to pick it upSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 04:27 PM
$40 for a remake of a 360 launch title???? No thanks. And considering its Activi$ion and they released a port of the Prototype "Remaster", it will have to go on sale for an extremely low price for me to even consider picking this up.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:06 PM
These are invariably going to be half-assed ports with minimal effort put in. Then released for an exorbitant price like Activision normally does.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:09 PM
I'll wait for the inevitable saleSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:09 PM
Just bought these on the 360 for like $5 hoping for BC. Unfortunate that they decided to go the remaster route; however, I think these games are worth the rebuy so I'll probably be getting them again...Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:19 PM
My issue with any remakes is why?? I still have my 360 and ill just re-play them on there, the graphics have not change that much in my opinion to justify paying again. To me remakes just make no sense. Hate all you want, again this is MY OPINIONSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:33 PM
@24 Well for starters, remasters/ports mean more achievements. Secondly, not everyone who owns a Xbox One also owns a Xbox 360. I sold both my 360's because I have no intention of playing older games UNLESS they make it to the Xbox One and have more achievements. It is what it is. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy these remasters/ports but for someone like me, I don't mind because I get to earn more achievements. And let's not forget we are replying/talking/communicating on an ACHIEVEMENT website, keep that in mind.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:44 PM
Ultimate Alliance 1 needed a severe upgrade, it looks way too old. I'm hoping they put some effort into that one, at least. UA 2 doesn't look nearly as bad, so if they just upgrade the frame rate and improve the textures, that's a win in my book for that game. I'll for sure pick both up at some point, but not for $60.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 05:57 PM
Yeah, a 3rd game is definitely happening. Really want to pick this up, the price though... man.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 06:16 PM
hissingmeats got a point ill prob get this after a price dropSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 07:53 PM
Are these re-releases (playing the 360 version on the XB1) or remasters with separate Achievements?Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 08:03 PM
@ #2 (Pants Party) That was my feeling too at first, wait for a sale (Which probably won't be until the holiday) but then I remembered that I gameshare with a friend and split the costs. So both titles for $30 isn't bad. Do you not take advantage of the gameshare feature?Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 08:28 PM
I dont often agree with pants, but I totally agree. $60 for the two of these games is a fucking joke. Should be $40 for both. They're old games and aren't going to be crazily updated.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 08:42 PM
I will buy these 2 if they bundle on a disc. They might do it later on.Sunday, July 24, 2016 @ 09:07 PM
$40/each or $60 for both is outrageous. Definitely gonna wait for a saleSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 09:23 PM
New achievements or no buy. I had played both on Xbox 360 in past and they are great game and I loved it. But I am not buy again if if same achievements list on Xbox One. If new achievements then yeah day one buy. :PSunday, July 24, 2016 @ 11:01 PM
smells like Prototype againMonday, July 25, 2016 @ 12:49 AM
@#35 - That was awesome though. It was so much fun to play those again, plus they had separate Achievements. As long as this bundle has separate Achievements like that did, it's a must-buy in my opinion.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 02:58 AM
@29: Not talking backward compatibility. These will be native X1 versions with new achievement lists. @30: I do game share, and it does help keep my gaming costs down a bit, but I play WAY more games than he does, so I still spend a lot more than I should.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 08:58 AM
$40 each? Get bent, Activision.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 09:04 AM
I lived the sequel, but when I tried the original it felt really clunky and boring in comparison, I hope they sort that out. Might be tempted to go back to these games on X1. Good games, especially MUA2, fun local multiplayer and great cast of classic Marvel charactersMonday, July 25, 2016 @ 11:27 AM
My biggest beef is MUA 1 came out for the 360 and the original XBox. It looked dated when it launched. Great game, but even this sites review pointed out that cutting edge visuals weren't a goal for this game...over 10 years ago.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 11:54 AM
i really want to play those games again, specially the silver surfer in MUA1, but i think i will just choose another game to spend time instead of money and wait for a more realistic price. No kidding !!! 60 for both is a joke. (And unfortunately i don't think we will ever see the legend serie remastered) And let's be honest, they remastered a lot of crap/unecessary games, so for once the choose well, i will wait impatiently for a lower price.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 12:14 PM
@15 Im sorry but if you spend 60$ on 2 games thats been out for 10+ years you're stupid. Its Activi$ion...you really think the games are gonna play or look any different then the originals on 360? From Activi$ion THERE NOT!. I love the games but will definitely be waiting for a saleMonday, July 25, 2016 @ 01:00 PM
Any word on if these will be on-line co-op?Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 01:25 PM
This is cool and all, clearly its testing the waters to see if a new sequel is viable. Even so, the price point is a little steep.Monday, July 25, 2016 @ 08:27 PM
I'm gonna be really upset if they waste this opportunity to make the really cool loading screen art the achievement pictures.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 04:44 AM
@43 - Come on, EVERYTHING is online these days. What's important is if they kept the LOCAL co-op intact.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 03:06 PM
I hope they're coming out today like they said, it's almost 12 and there's nothing.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 04:25 PM
Yeah, I don't see anything yet either...Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 04:29 PM
@43, @46: "Marvel.com: That sounds like a lot of fun—you can play “couch co-op”? Mike Jones: Yep! More and more games these days are strictly online co-op but “Ultimate Alliance” has both: online and local co-op. So you can find a group via matchmaking or get together with your friends to build your ultimate Super Hero squad and save the world together. You can also play single-player if you want to go your own speed but “Ultimate Alliance” really comes to life as a cooperative experience."Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 05:31 PM
Still not available on xbox but is available on playstationTuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 06:29 PM
Yup, Playstation got it hours ago. 2:30 PM and STILL nothing for XBox users.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 06:35 PM
@51 Well this sucks was really looking forward to buying these on xbox one and now the clock is 20.35 in my country and still nothing.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 07:59 PM
According to Activision's Twitter page, the XBox version has been "delayed". No new arrival date. Typical.Tuesday, July 26, 2016 @ 08:21 PM
Coming to X1 on Thursday now. Apparently the first game is missing all DLC. Waiting for a sale.

Marvel has announced that the rumored remakes of the four-player superhero dungeon crawling Marvel Ultimate Alliance series are indeed coming to current gen systems. The games will be "as faithful to the originals as possible" while still "improving performance, some UI and graphic enhancements as well as making the games compatible with modern platform features."
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1&2 will be available digitally on July 26th for $39.99 each, or a bundle can be purchased for $59.99 - there was no mention of a physical release.
Commenting on a possible sequel, executive producer Mike Jones says, "Anything is possible, True Believers!" We'll let you know if that becomes a reality, which seems more than likely.
