Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have confirmed that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has gone gold, meaning the game is done and dusted, ready for its launch next month.

Set years after the events of Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided sees Adam Jensen caught amid a 'mechanical apartheid', in which augmented individuals and non-augmented humans are segregated.

Jensen might not have asked for this, but we certainly did. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 23rd August. Check out our gameplay preview below and read our latest impressions here.

  • a game meeting it's release window? makes a change
  • @1well at least its second launch window. Can't wait to play this.
  • Cannot wait for this game so much. This game will be Game of the Year 2016 is simply as answer. This game will beats out Dishonored II, Titanfall, Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian and more games in 2016. This game will winning this year hand down!! :) :) Well I am hyped on this game and knowing this game will be super epic. Human Revolution is amazing game but came with few issues but this has everything issues to be addressed from Director's Cut of Human Revolution and into Mankind Divided. Also huge stuffs this time than ever before. :) :)
  • Ouch "Titanfall 2" I meant as above my comment. Couldn't edit it since no option of Edit. :P
  • What is the arrow pointing at and why does the black man look like he was Photoshopped in?
  • @5 I do believe thats the going gold version of the game, could be wrong but thats what it looks like, the arrow comes from the GOLD! and is pointing to what looks like a disc.
  • @3 lets be honest, deus ex is not gunna beat uncharted 4 lol. Im a huge deus ex fan and very excited for this one. But after i finished uncharted 4, i was simply in shock on how perfect it was. It is one of the greatest games i have ever played in my life. Most people that would disagree are those who have yet to play it all the way through.
  • @5 It's pointing at an Illuminati eye.
  • @7 Uncharted 4 is fun. But its just heavily scripted in-your-face hand-holding fun. Deus Ex is for people who like actual strategy, exploration and progression, and being rewarded for playing smart. Wich unfortunately isnt the majority. imo those that think uncharted 4 is the best shit ever, either dont/didnt play many games or are just riding in the overrate train.
  • @7 Uncharted 4 was an unnecessary mish-mash of U1-3. Im a longtime Uncharted fan, and 4 felt like a hindrance on the series. Aside from the epilogue, the entire game could have continued not existing, and the series, to me, would be better for it.
  • So hype. I might go back to the first one to prepare.
  • I've marked this game on my playing schedule. Day 1 purchase.
  • I'll wait for a couple of early reviews but assuming the game isn't broken or the like this is a day one buy for me. I might replay HR in the next month just to refresh on the story and characters. Looking forward to this. Hope it has a new game plus so I can max my skill tree and mess about with them.
  • I hope it is smoother than the last one
