With Mafia III just over a month away from release, 2K Games has reinstated Mafia II on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Store for PS3, offering the perfect opportunity to catch up with the saga in Empire Bay before heading off to New Bordeaux in October.
Telling the story of one of Mafia 3 protagonist Lincoln Clay's lieutenants, you play as Vito Scaletta, enjoying his mob exploits with closest friend, Joe. Set prior to Vito getting mixed up with the Marcano crime family in Mafia 3, Mafia 2 offers insights into why the made man eventually decided to turn on the mob in New Bordeaux.
You can download Mafia II via Xbox Live and PSN for $29.99. Mafia III, meanwhile, will be unleashed on 7th October 2016.
