Never got to play this series on the N64, but I picked the first one up one Live and loved it. I'll definitely be purchasing this game!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:07 AM
Banjo-Tooie was one of the best games on the N64, a definite must have.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:06 AM
No surprises here. Good thing they didn't bump it up to 1600 since I won't pay $20 for a 10 year old gameThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:11 AM
well worth the 1200 points the first was a steal for only 800 hopefully ill get 200 on the sequel too :)Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:10 AM
why are arcade games always coming in at 1200msp stop it MS we will pay 800 not 1200Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:12 AM
Can't wait.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:12 AM
Great price at 1200 points. I collect/play N64 games and a copy of banjo tooie sets you back around £20-25 in the UK (and that's unboxed) so this is a steal. I picked up BK on my N64 for £5 though so I didn't bother buying the more expensive XBLA version.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:13 AM
2 and 5 wow just wowThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:21 AM
I expected this. It doesn't matter though, I'll be getting this on day 1.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:32 AM
A classic. Ignore the price, it's really worth it.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:38 AM
im going to passThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:39 AM
you would pay more to get the cartridge for the N64, with this you get better graphics, better frame rate, achievements and stop and swap good deal i think will mr Webb be getting this then?Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:39 AM
blatantly worth every penny.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:38 AM
I wish people would stop complaining about the price of this game, I can understand complaints when some games have very little content and value get overpriced like Death Tank etc. But this game is well worth the 1200MSP the game will last you a while not to mention the visuals have been improved, its a must buy for me.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:21 AM
mageinator, I traded my copy of Banjo Tooie a few years ago in Gamestation and I got 20 quid for it. That was in perfect nick with the instruction manual too. I couldn't believe it. I also traded my copy of Conkers bad fur day also in perfect nick and with instructions and got 20 quid for that too.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:49 AM
I beat the crap out of the first one multiple times. But I never got around to playing the second one. I will grab this title for sure so I can enjoy a great game I've never played... and now it's even better than the original because I can get achievments on it!!!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 07:55 AM
best 1200 points i will spend so far, well worth it, £10 for a rare amazing game, stop complaining, and if you want to complain, the developers set the prices, not MS, but rare are amazing, so shut up.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:03 AM
1200 seems too much. Im not gettin itThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:04 AM
this is in no way overpriced... never actually got to beat it back in the day so i think now is the right time to do it... this is a day 1 download if there ever was one...Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:06 AM
This is an awsome game, i never finished it when i was younger but now i can actually get myself a copy of it and only for 1200 MS, its a steal people honestly and its an improvement on the original not just a port so without a second though im hands down going to get this on release. Loved the first one by the way.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:15 AM
What?! Part 1 was 800!! wtf?!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:21 AM
Worth every penny, exspecially considering the crap Microsoft has put out for that price and higher in the past. I'll definatley be getting it.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:27 AM
Expected. I'll still buy. "What?! Part 1 was 800!! wtf?!" No... Read the article or check the Marketplace yourself. The original was 1,200 as well.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:29 AM
Heh, awesome, I'd be more than willing to pay 1600 to get to play this masterpiece again. Definitely getting this the day it comes out for only 1200.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:36 AM
I'm definitely getting this game, 1200 MSP isn't bad at all.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:38 AM
Rare should release a port of their ultimate master peice: KILLER INSTINCT GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 08:39 AM
I'm surprised it isn't 1600 points, Banjo Tooie has a lot more content than Banjo Kazooie. All of the levels are absolutely huge, there are more levels, The transformation system has a lot more presence, you can even turn into a giagantic T-Rex. It's more content than Banjo Kazooie for the same price, I'll be buying it as soon as I can.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:07 AM
Finally! I was still waiting for them to announce the release date. Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie were both games that made up some of the best parts of my childhood. They were probably some of the first great games I ever played, hell, I'd be willing to pay even more for them on XBLA!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:08 AM
noThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:22 AM
KILLER INSTINCT GOLD ULTRA ... ULTRA... ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:23 AM
AND CO CO COMBO BREAKER =DThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:28 AM
What about Blast Corps and Jet force Gemini? Two N64 games that were great fun but seriously underrated...Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:31 AM
I loved the first game (reason I bought N&B) but never got around to playing Banjo Tooie. I'll be getting this eventually.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:30 AM
I will pick up both Banjo game soon me thanks, loved the first on N64 and never got around to picking up tootie but always wanted to play it. @ Number 27, I liked the First KI better then Gold which if I am not mistaken is a Port of the Arcade KI2, KI1 was amazing and everyone had unique combos if you know what I am talking about compared to 2 or Gold versions. Although I am talking about KI1 from the arcade not the SNES. And yes I would love a KI1 Arcade Port to Xbox but hell make it a HD re-mixThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:48 AM
Where's goldeneye when you need it.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:44 AM
Actually no I only payed 800 for the first one. I don't know if it was some deal or special or what but yeah I bought Kazooie for 800. Either way I'll still probably pick this one up. I never got to play this one on the N64.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:48 AM
@#6, The first was 1,200 too, but free if you pre-ordered Nuts & Bolts. Well, yay for that RockBand/StarTrek promo going on.... Yay free MSPoints, and multiple e-mail accounts. Going to get this for free, W00t.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:55 AM
"What about Blast Corps and Jet force Gemini? Two N64 games that were great fun but seriously underrated..." Good idea! I never did manage to beat Mizar, and the last time I tried to start from scratch on the N64, I couldn't even play it right anymore. Bring it to 360 with some dual stick action!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:05 AM
N64 games are 10 on VC. Why the 15 dollar pricetag? And yes, Blast Corps is a top ten favorite for me so please bring that one out.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:08 AM
i thought the first was only 800 pts? then again i got it as a preorder bonus for nuts and bolts. i don't think ill be buying this one. Killer Instinct Gold please.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:08 AM
Helllll yeah. Pickin' this up on day one.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:24 AM
Tryin to see donkey kong .. that would be 1200 points well spentThursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:27 AM
1200 is the new 800, which was the new 400.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:39 AM
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO banjo tooie is my favorite game of all time!! 1200msp!?!? damn you rare...Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:44 AM

Cloud cookoo land anyone? defently worth 1200 idd pay 2100Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 11:36 AM
What about diddykong raceing damn you wizpig!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 11:58 AM
Hmmm, not sure how I feel about spending $15 on this. I got the first one free with the N&B promo. We'll see if I fall into some money, but my bet is that I'll be spending that money on the new Fallout DLC and some Rock Band songs instead.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 12:08 PM
1200 MSP is not even that much! Especially for like one of the best N64 games. I still dont understand how the original banjo didnt beat crappy XBLA titles like Braid for best XBLA game of 2008. Yes it may be old but, meh oh well Banjo Tooie is much bigger and better.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 12:22 PM
I bought and Loved BK way back in the day, "bought" it again on the XBLA but I never managed to pick up Tooie as far as I can remember so its Ill have to pick it up day 1. Sucks though, Fable 2 DLC, Fallout 3 DLC and this around the same time.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 01:21 PM
seeing as the cartridge goes for about 20 bucks on ebay with shipping and not everyone has an n64 its totally worth it. I never got to play this one at all but I'm counting down the days until release. Can anyone vouch for this game?Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 01:52 PM
yes I will pay 1200. Just because you are to cheap doesn't mean I won't. This game is longer than resident evil 5, and costs a quarter as much.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 12:22 PM
@34 lordskorrkeeper I've been thinking to myself for a while now how good a HD Remix of Killer Instinct 1 would/could be lol!Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 04:24 PM
NOOoOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I was hoping for a lower price oh well. Still getting it.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 05:41 PM
How could you not buy this....Getting it as soon as possible.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 09:00 PM
Eh, ok, probably won't get it then. No offense but I didn't enjoy Tooie, only Kazooie. And this doesn't shock me. They gave away Kazooie, they gotta make their money back somehow.Thursday, April 16, 2009 @ 10:12 PM
you all realize banjo tooie on the n64 goes way over $15 used right? this is a bargain if you dont own it already and im still getting it even though i already own it.Friday, April 17, 2009 @ 05:47 AM
THE BIGGEST, BADDEST AND THE BEST XBLA GAME YOU WILL EVER PLAY ! SABREMAN IS ALSO IN IT ! AND A TALKING TRAIN ! AND GOBI MAKES A COMEBACK ! 1200 PRICE TAG = A STEAL.Friday, April 17, 2009 @ 10:02 PM
This game rocks and $15 isn't bad, seeing as you probably paid more for the N64 cartridge anyways. The graphics are better, it has stop n' swop. The price really isn't that badSunday, April 19, 2009 @ 07:46 AM
Would have liked it to be less, but I'll be getting it no matter what. Never played it before on the N64 and I won't miss out this time.

Rare today confirmed to Eurogamer that their latest forray on the Xbox Live Arcade, Banjo Tooie, is set to drop for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
The price for the sequel to Banjo Kazooie, due to drop on April 29th, is no surprise really considering that the original was priced at 1,200 points as well when it was released in December of last year.
Banjo-Tooie will be available on April 29th for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
