Namco Bandai announced that it will be releasing a follow up to the 2005 RPG on the PS2 in Japan on August 6th with a wide release to EU and US regions later this year.
Featuring an all-new story and cast, Magna Carta 2 will utilize the Unreal 3 engine and Japanese manga artist Hyung-Tae Kim for an excellent blend of both worlds to create a beautiful game world. The game will feature a blend of real-time and turn-based action, using a party of three active players (six total playable in the game) that can be swapped during battle. With reportedly over 40 hours of gameplay and a multitude of sidequests, this latest offering from developer Softmax and publisher Namco Bandai looks amazing.
