For Honor's 1.3 patch rolls out on PC today, but the console version isn't quite ready to come out of the oven just yet - Ubisoft has confirmed that the patch has been approved for certification by Sony and Microsoft, so you can expect it by the end of the week, latest.
It's a major patch, this one, and introduces a series of fixes and alterations Ubisoft has talked about before, from buffing the underused Valkyrie to fixing a series of changes that inadvertently borked Peacekeeper when she was altered in the post-beta phase of development.
As well as some character balancing changes, Ubisoft has also tinkered with the Guard Break system - the developer will be re-introducing the same system that was present in the beta, which many agree was a more reliable and fair use of the game's blocking mechanics.
Take a look at the full 1.03 patch list below to see what changes are coming to the game:
Feats
Shugoki
Orochi & Berserker
Valkyrie
Berserker, Warlord, & Valkyrie
Fight
All Fighters
Peacekeeper
Some tweaking was made on the Peacekeeper during the Beta, which caused some bugs and unintended changes. We are changing some of her moves to behave as designed.
Berserker & Conqueror
Valkyrie
Overall Valkyrie gameplay update/buff. We found that the changes we made during our latest Technical Test were impacting too much the dueling abilities of the Valkyrie. She has gone from the 1st place in Win/Loss in Duel to the last spot. We’ve made some of her moves a little faster and we’ve added some mix-ups.
Orochi

Duel, Brawl, Elimination
