In addition, gamers will also be able to play Test matches, One Day Internationals, 20 over games and a series of challenge modes. The high definition current generation versions will feature full online multiplayer as well as support for local multiplayer games."

I hope they make this one available to region 1 markets. I'm still sore about not being able to get the EA Cricket games, or Brian Lara over here.

Whats with all the cunts here saying "make a real sports game" etc etc? The fact is that this IS a real sport, so fucking live with it.

Some people are fucking idiots I swear to god, with all the bullshit movie-tie-in games that are constantly churned out year in year out theres people that choose to complain about a genuine game? I don't like golf, cricket, tennis, but i still play the games because they are actually quite fun, where as i dont play madden games because its a pathetic american version of rugby.

Grow up, please... -.-

Honestly I'd be far more likely to get a Cricket game than Baseball from across the pond (of which my understanding is probably similar to most Americans' understanding of cricket). Different strokes for different folks, no need for all the hate people!

What I think is funny is all the people who click on links just to say they hate the idea. If its such a bad idea, and so horrible why do you bother too click on the article in the first place. I mean is your life that horribly bad that you need to read things your not the least bit interest in just to bash people who are.

^Well I'd stake my house that no Americans will get it. It will be PAL only. I guess if they really wanted it they could get a PAL console...

Cricket is an excellent sport. Very popular here in Aus. I will get this game, though I'm still waiting for EA to bring out a cricket game on 360. Rugby too...

Last Codemasters game (Brian Lara/Ricky Ponting cricket) was too easy, and very disappointing.

The great sport that IS cricket. With a total of about 6 nations worldwide that actually have a national team for it! Most of which used to be colonies of England anyway! LOL

Wow, some of you guys are seriously ignorant. #12 said that about .5% of the world's population watches and knows the rules to cricket. First of all, even if that was true, that would still be 32.5 million people. But the truth is that it is one of the world's most popular sports. Obviously it's originally a British game. However, because Britain founded colonies in Africa and India they have greatly influenced the cultures there. Cricket is the number one sport in India witch supports one of the worlds largest populations (1,147,995,904 approx.). So don't be so surprised some one is finally making a next gen cricket game. Besides, most of what Codemasters touches turns to gold.

WILL THIS GAME BE AVAILABLE IN AMERICA? i wanted brian lara cricket so bad that i harassed EA so much about it. i'm a hugh cricket fan, and cricket is the #1 sport outside of america. if it will be for sale in america i'm tell everyone right now. GET READY TO WOOP BY THE WEST INDIES, I HOPE THE HAVE CLASSIC TEAMS, SI I CAN GET IN THAT ASS WITH THE 92,93 WEST INDIES TEAM. you true cricket fan know what i'm talking about. i see you south africa and india.

#31 - Do it
#32 - That seems a bit pointless, seeming as though Codemasters made Brian Lara

Personally, I'm looking forward to it, England might actually win the Ashes for once. Hope the achievements are a bit more interesting than Brian Lara, there's only so much you can do with Cricket, but look how FIFA turned out - hit a century partnership with no 10 and 11?

@11: Way to be a hypocrite. Calling those who bashed cricket "fucking idiots" and then you yourself bash American Football a "pathetic american version of rugby". You're the fucking idiot and pathetic one here.
