Originally released for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC back in August 2015, Mike Bithell's stylish stealth game, Volume, will be making its way to Xbox One, the developer has confirmed. The confirmation comes off the back of a rating from PEGI, outing the game for Microsoft's console.

Bithell confirmed the news in a tweet earlier today, as follows:

As the developer states, there is no release date for Volume on Xbox One as yet, but it is coming, and one would imagine it'll probably be fairly soon. Maybe don't quote me on that though.

  • Nice to see a lot of other games finally making their way to the Xbox!
  • If it's a stealth game, shouldn't it be called 'Low Volume' or 'Mute'? Also, it drives me crazy that some of these companies manage to get exclusivity contracts that eventually expire....or whatever it is that enables them to release on other consoles...but the companies that we really wish would do this never manage it. I'm obviously not alone in wishing something would happen to make Uncharted, The Last Of Us, Eventually Horizon Zero Dawn, and many others that I may not care about but I'm sure plenty of others do. Sure, we have Halo and Gears, but those just don't feel like enough anymore. I know this is a 'dead horse' topic, but I can't help thinking of it every time some lesser known title gets ported over. I really wonder just how much Sony pays these companies to make it worth passing up all of the potential sales from selling cross console. If I had more friends on the PS4, It wouldn't take much more to convince me to make a change.
  • #2 Sony didn't have to Naughty Dog or Guerilla Games anything for Uncharted and such, because Sony own them, that's why they are exclusive.
  • @3: I forgot about that. I guess MS just needs to step up their damn game with creating new I.P.
  • @2 They don't do it as much as they used to, but Sony had a habit of buying up any developers who put out good games and letting them operate autonomously while making exclusives for the PlayStation brand.
  • @4 Microsoft is in a rebranding, reorganization for the last 2ish years sense phil took over he closed some of the studios they felt were not putting out the best quality work and he stated a few days ago they are upping there investment in 1st party and 2nd party titles, we should see more at this e3 and towards next year of this work
