EA's official Need for Speed account yesterday posted a tweet that stated: 'Let's get this party started shall we?' and an image of a skyline covered in cloud - whilst a lot of fans have been saying this may be Seattle thanks to a needle-like tower on the right-hand side of the image, others are saying it's Vegas, thanks to the shape of the skyline as a whole.
A Twitter user posted a desaturated picture beneath the original tweet, and it seems to show a much clearer image of the Las Vegas skyline - hotels, observation tower and all. Take a look below:
We already know the next Need for Speed game is coming this year, so expect more news on the title soon.
It looks like the next Need for Speed could be set in Vegas, then - which makes sense: with long roads, lots of night life, supercars coming out the wazoo and more besides, Vegas makes a good location for a driving game like the new version of Need For Speed. Do you agree? Let us know below!
I'd like to see a sequel to The Run, but don't break the game up into 70 3 minute races, let me stop for gas, sleep, etc where I want along the way.
Basically, I want NFS: Cannonball Run.
I just want a new Burnout game, we get enough racers as it is these days, rather just something like Burnout as it has so many different modes like takedowns
