Saints Row 2
Saints Row 2's Second Batch of DLC Hits Next Week

Following the disasterous first downloadable content pack for Saints Row 2, Volition today revealed [via IGN] that the second batch of DLC will follow next week.

In at a slightly cheaper price of 560 Microsoft Points, Corporate Warfare is set to offer players another Ultor story arc, some vehicles, multiplayer maps, achievements and more options for customisation. Deja vu anyone?

Corporate Warfare will drop on May 28th for 560 Microsoft Points.

As much as i think this is a great game, despite the fact i no longer play it, i can't help but think the DLC will be as bad as the previous one so most certainly won't be picking this up. I mean the 560 MSP price tag says it all.

#2: A lot of games are releasing their second DLC for around 560 MSP. For example Fable II's first DLC was trash and 800 MSP, but their second was 560 and was a lot better. So I wouldn't count this DLC out yet.

Story arch? I think you mean arc...but that's a minor correction XD
With more content, this might actually turn out to be GOOD.

I find it Heavy that so less Gameplay cost additional Money ... cause ... on PC is it Free -.-

Boycott that shit...

Mappacks and new modes must be Free

worst was Resident evil vs ... 400points for Nothing ... 1.2 mb ... so we payed more for Content on Disk -.-

@3: I think of no other games, other then Fable that have done this... It seems DLC pricing might go for 560 a lot now though? I wish the Halo Wars one did, I bought it and there is no where near enough content to warrant 800MSP. Woah, off topic much?

"I mean the 560 MSP price tag says it all."

What I hear it saying is "We listened to all the complaints about $10 for the first pack, so we're going to drop it some to help bring in sales."

And it worked on this guy *points at self*. No way I'd spend another $10 on that little content (even though I have free points), but $7 is a bit more fair, even if it is still probably a bit high.

it should be cheaper for the ones who already forked out the 800 points for the first pack, if thats any way possible, probably not.

i bought the pack, but my co-op partner refuses to spend the $, so i cant get the achievements! and no one else on my friend list has/plays SR2...i need to stop buying dlc as soon as it comes out, like how im getting screwed on all the dlc i bought for gears 2, but thats a different story i rather not talk about....

He may be talking about English pounds. Just a guess. On topic, I like the Saints Row story line (cheesy as it can be) and I'm going to keep paying to see how it develops. Also, the core gameplay for SR2 is solid enough that I enjoy replaying missions. I'm glad the price is down a bit, but what I'd really prefer is a DLC pack with 8-10 new missions or better yet, a DLC pack with a whole new gang and 12-15 missions without new multiplayer content.

The little question mark symbol thingy probably means British pounds, as that symbol doesn't work on X360A.

I refuse to pay 2 cents for this DLC. It is the exact same as the last disappointment they charged 10 bucks for. WHoever decided price points can shove it up their ass because I'm not bending over for this DLC.

Definately agree with #18, along with Blinged Out Ride. Two of my favorite multiplayer game modes from the first one. That, and Uncle Gary as the character for this DLC.

I might pick this up eventually sometime if there's a time where there's no good games to play. But I don't see that anytime soon with the summer games and holiday season.

Maybe I'll pass.

Honestly, I haven't played SR2 in months. I've always been a fan of Saints Row, I extremely enjoyed part one. However, even with the first game, the dlc was absolutely horrific. This title has never released any dlc that's actually worth while. Now, I'm not one to complain about the price of dlc or how easy the achievements are. But, I can feel for and understand those of you who may not be willing to spend hard earned money for a lack luster product. In this situation, to each his own I guess. If your a fan of the franchise, go balls to the wall with the dlc and enjoy it. If your having any doubts, listen to your gut and don't dl. Seems alot of people are waiting for the marvel vs. capcom game to spend their points on if anything.
