In an interview with IGN, Monolith Studios' Associate Producer Lucas Myers, discussed FEAR 2's upcoming single player downloadable content, coming this August for a price unknown at the moment.
FEAR 2: Reborn as it's called, will take the perspective of replica soldier, Foxtrot 813, although the crux of the story is currently unknown at the moment. Myers does take a minute to state that FEAR 2: Reborn will feature the same slow-mo mechanics that have become a staple of the FEAR franchise over the years.
The story is set to run across 4 new environments which are said to be more vertical, open and a lot more challenging on the higher difficulties than the original's missions. They are also said to be similar in length to the original campaign missions, according to Myers, "more than two hours" of playtime on average overall.
And, yes, there will be achievements.
FEAR 2: Reborn comes out some time in August.
