The summer months aren't all doom and gloom for gaming. They're as close to doom and gloom as you get though, as the sheer lack of titles really indicates that many publishers didn't really learn their lesson from last year's rush. Maybe it takes them a year or so to adjust to the new business plan ... which sounds like a more feasible option and may partly be the reason behind all these delays that have been pushing titles into 2010.
Anyway, I digress. There are titles that always come in the summer months - namely the American Football titles and those that tie-in to the summer films that keep us occupied until the fall game rush. Under the microscope this week; one of each. A family title and film tie-in that comes in the form of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur; and the yearly college football title, NCAA Football '10. How do they fare? Read the reviews to find out.
