Got this when it released, was well worth the points imo. Can't wait for the 2nd DLC thats coming soon.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:24 PM
FML i bought it in February. and screw those guys for dropping the price on expensive DLC i already bought.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:26 PM
I was holding off buying this in hopes it would be a Deal Of The Week. I've got points ready for this when it becomes active. I guess I should consider finishing GTA IV soon, too.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:26 PM
well i got it when it came out, doesnt bother me.. but if i would of bought it a few days ago, I would be pissed!Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:26 PM
There IS An excuse not to buy it, even with the price drop. Its called the disc thats coming out with LOTD and the new one. One price, both things and no wasted storage space on your hard drive.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:27 PM
Uhhhh, why do things like this always happen when I have no cash :(Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:27 PM
I am so glad i waitedMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:27 PM
Easily the best dlc for any xbox game, but still dont think its worth the price tag. It only takes 2 hrs to beat, better off waiting for the GOTY edition of gta4Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:28 PM
Sweet, I needed a reason to get back into this game, and this helps with the decision making.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:29 PM
i knew this would be a deal of the week at some time.. good thing i waited.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:30 PM
This is one of the rare items on Marketplace that could be just about any price, and still be worth. 1200 points is a steal, but those who bought it in February should'nt complain at all. 1600 points was also the price for Watchmen. Just saying. :)Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:31 PM
@#8 it takes a lot longer than two hours to beat! plus all the extra stuff! and there isnt gonna be a goty edition just a separate disc with the episodesMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:37 PM
@#8 WOAH, the DLC takes MUCH longer to beat.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:38 PM
Well, I was going to wait for the $40 disk with both episodes on it, but I guess I'll download them instead. Save 400 pts.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:39 PM
I don't think its possible to beat TLAD in 2 hours even if you skip every cutscene and never fail a mission. And this is easily worth the price tag. It was easily worth the $20. For $15, you really have no reason not to buy this unless you really don't have $15 to spare.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:40 PM
The separate disk will be 40$, right? If so, then I'll spare myself 5 dollars buying both expansions on Xbox Live thanks to this. It isn't that big a deal, but still.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:40 PM
I will wait for the disc to.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:49 PM
TLAD took me 8 hours to get 250, I believe. Maybe a little more, but I did it in one day for sure.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:51 PM
Yesss! :D Glad I waited on this DLCMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:51 PM
Bought this when it first came out. Although it would've been better to spend 1200 instead of 1600, I have no complaints. It was very fun. Anyone who hasn't got this should get it. Its a steal at 1200.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 02:56 PM
I just don't think I have the will to spend $15 on an add-on like this, especially after wasting $10 on Mothership Zeta. I mean, I loved GTA4, but I just can't justify to myself paying for more of the same.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:03 PM
AHHHH i baught this today!!!!!!!!!!!!!Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:04 PM
1200 or 1600, makes no difference to me as my GTAIV is on PS3... looks like you was wrong with the "no excuse".Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:07 PM
I agree with #8, maybe not 2 hours but well under 5 hours to 250 it.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:14 PM
meh the game and DLC was boring anywayMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:35 PM
I got this on Amazon with a free 3 month Live card so my money was well spent. Hopefully they do a similar promotion with the new one.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:38 PM
meh gta 4 was kinda shitty anywayMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 03:45 PM
GTA4 was enjoyable enough, but I really can't be bothered with all the DLC.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:09 PM
dam, why is everything ive ever bought on live now is sooner to be deal of week. either i have good taste or just buyin random stuffMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:25 PM
Damn awesome deal best DLC ive played so far of any gameMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:30 PM
Darn it!! i bought it 5 days ago...... ah well...at least it's not 50% price cut to make me mad xDMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:34 PM
I never really understood why people liked GTA4, i mean there was nothing new.. missions were shallow and boring and then there was the online.. I guess not everyone like the same things but i thought previous GTAs were awesome and then this just killed the series =/Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:41 PM
Looking at getting this at a cutprice !! Can understand people getting annoyed after they paid full price...Thats gotta hurt. Spose they cant win what they do..... Keep em coming i dont mindMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 04:44 PM
IMO The Lost And Damned was one of the best game experiences I have had recently. Made me get back into gta in the first place.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 05:04 PM
And I still got it cheaper! Code off of ebay for under $15! Still a great price for some of the best DLC out there.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 05:30 PM
#2 are you serious??why do you have a problem with other people saving money....would you rather them not make it a deal of the week so everyone has to pay full price??Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 06:08 PM
This shouldn't be called DLC this should be called an Expansion pack unlike that stupid Halo 3 ODST coming out =-PMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 06:59 PM
Uhh, points never last me long enough, they are gone within the first day I get them...Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 08:27 PM
got it first day it came out, gonna try to get new one first dayMonday, August 10, 2009 @ 08:32 PM
#2, what do you mean? Surely $5 was worth the price of having the DLC 6 months earlier... I too already have this but this is a good deal.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 08:33 PM
I enjoyed LATD more than I did the main GTA 4 story.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 08:49 PM
time to dust off GTA and finally get around to finishing it. also will have to get the DLC now :)Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 09:38 PM
The DLC is better than the original game, so just buy it already >.>Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 10:09 PM
Not even worth 800MSP from what I could tolerate to play.Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 11:10 PM
Hope its not right in front of me, but anyone know the size of the file offhand? My 20 gb HD is huffin and puffin!Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 11:40 PM
Epic win.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 02:55 AM
@ 45 It's about 1.8gb I was thinking of getting that double pack when it comes out but this is cheaper and i can get it now in a few days instead =DTuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 03:33 AM
I was never gonna get this, but now I will. Might get around to actually finishing all those pidgeons and stealing those cars! :PTuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 03:34 AM
All this is is a blatant attempt to get you to buy both TLAD and the new BOGT before they're both released on a single disc.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 04:08 AM
Oh yes man!! Have to finish the game now(Shame on me for haven't.)24th. is now marked on my calendar for both TLAD and the new Arctic Monkeys CD!!Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 04:08 AM
Nice, hopefully there will be more people playing it online soon! Although, it was worth buying for 1600 points back in february, the first DLC I ever thought worth buying and the first DLC I ever bought.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 04:10 AM
DUUUDE i bought this last week!!! FTWTuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 04:58 AM
I need to conserve space so I'm buying Eps from Liberty City even though I bought this, which = an extra $20, a week after it came out, which = I didn't get the free month of live. And now it's on sale, which = a "wasted" $5? FML indeed, man. However, I regret my horrible timing more than I do the purchase. Damn good DLC.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 05:54 AM
@ 49 The single disc costs $40 anyway, so buying both dlc from home would be $40 or $35 if you get it now and will save you traveling to the shops. It's more of a scheme to get you into gtaiv and the episodes by the time BOGT is out.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 09:41 AM
Yes, curse them for trying to sell their products especially, at a reduced price!! Are you for real?Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 01:06 PM
Nice, I'll be getting this. I'm glad I waited.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 01:13 PM
I was just about to get this but I'm glad that I'll get a price drop.Tuesday, August 11, 2009 @ 04:18 PM
cool. i will be getting this finaly. 15 bones can't go wrong.Wednesday, August 12, 2009 @ 01:30 AM
What a rip off. I bought it when it just came out. I want a 400 point refund.Wednesday, August 12, 2009 @ 07:14 AM
@59 Tough S*** I would get this, but GTA IV just holds no appeal to me whatsoever - Still waiting for next-gen San Andreas:( Thanks for the heads up anyway Webb:PThursday, August 20, 2009 @ 10:46 AM
Awesome. i've been waiting to get some microsoft points for ages and now this deal is here. does anyone know when the deal finishes???Sunday, August 23, 2009 @ 09:49 AM
@61 It goes through the end of the week (I think Sunday)Thursday, August 27, 2009 @ 06:17 PM
Hmm, idk if i should get it now, or wait for the disc, does the disc have a booklet in it or is it just a disc, and can you also get achievements from the disc w/o GTA IV? Also, what about switching discs, from GAT IV or TLAD...or TBOGT..:(..HELP!!!

Microsoft just sent word that Grand Theft Auto IV's debut episode, "The Lost and Damned," will feature as their Deal of the Week for the week commencing August 24th.
In
possiblyeasily their best Deal of the Week to date, the blockbuster Grand Theft Auto IV episode will be available for a criminal price of 1,200 Microsoft Points, instead of the usual 1,600.The Lost and the Damned was well worth a look at its original price, but with the upcoming price drop, you have no excuse now. Pencil this in the diaries folks, although we'll remind you closer to the date anyway.
