SEGA Finally Confirms Alpha Protocol Delay

In what is the surely the most bizarre situation since the general public discovered that Billie Piper was dating ageing funny man, Chris Evans (only the Brits may get that reference), SEGA today confirmed the delay of Alpha Protocol... you know, over a week since its previously announced release date.
"We're very happy that Sega has made the decision to hold back the shipment of the game in order to give it the best chance at becoming the publishing success that we at Obsidian and our partners at Sega are striving for," said Obsidian boss, Feargus Urquhart.
Sega Europe MD, Alan Pritchard, commented, "Alpha Protocol has been a very promising title since the beginning of the development cycle. By pushing Alpha Protocol to Spring 2010, we can ensure that the game will be released in the best commercial release window possible and will also receive the focus this true AAA titles deserves."
So, another title running scared of the "busy" fall period it seems. Let's hope the mental spring 2010 schedule doesn't kill it entirely.
