The Dutch development studio, W!Games, today announced that their European Innovative Games Award nominated title, Greed Corp, would be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade service some time in early 2010.

"The first in a series of games based in the rich Mistbound universe, Greed Corp is set in a world of feudal warfare and environmental destruction through industrial consumption. As one of four warring factions your aim is territorial domination, but at what cost? Can you find the delicate balance between harvesting the land for resources and preserving it to stay alive? Will you defend your territory or sacrifice it to keep it out of enemy hands?"

"Featuring an innovative land collapsing mechanic which constantly alters the strategic landscape, you must destroy your enemies or the very land they stand on before they do it to you. Build Harvesters to reap your land for credits and spend them on armouries and cannons. Manufacture walkers to conquer enemy territory and order carriers to transport your troops across the map. Ultimately, defeat your enemies by eliminating their troops and destroying or capturing their structures."

Intrigued? Then check out the gameplay trailer and the new screens below. Greed Corp is coming early 2010 to the Xbox Live Arcade.

Might be worth a try but I hate turn based games so I'll pass. For anyone who likes that kind of thing this should be worth a try. Catan was alright, so was Carcasonne but I'm not sure about this one.

Ooooh. I thought Greed Corp was the new nickname for GameStop. *ba-dum-tish!*

Anyway, that does sound interesting. I'll have to check out the demo when it drops.

Looks pretty neat, could be fun!
I hope the ingame music won't be like in the trailer though.
