Activision and United Front Games today detailed their upcoming fall 2010 title, True Crime, after its debut showing at this year's VGAs on Saturday.
The Hong Kong based open-world, sandbox title has been inspired by classic Hollywood and Asian action thrillers and built from the ground up by the Vancouver based developer. Hong Kong is delivered with diverse neighbourhoods that range from the high class Central HK, to the more gritty fish markets of downtown Aberdeen (not Scotland!).
You'll play Wei Shen, a detective who has to infiltrate a notorious Triad crime syndicate. You must do whatever it takes to stay undetected and survive, whilst balancing your moral duty as a cop and performing your mission. You'll be kung fu fighting, get involved in explosive gunfights, take part in fast paced car chases, and there's even a little free-running.
True Crime is expected to ship some time in fall 2010. Head here to see Saturday night's VGA trailer.
