Army of Two: The 40th Day Getting Two New Co-Op Campaign Maps

EA Montreal has announced two all-new co-op campaign maps to continue the adventures of meathead buddies Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios.

Returning to the flaming ruins of war-torn Shanghai, the duo stumble across information that may lead them towards ending the 40th Day Initiative Army's devastating attacks upon Shanghai, lead by the game's main antagonist, Jonah.

Naturally, Salem and Rios find out that everyone is out for themselves and that they can only trust one another. Cue more male bonding and another dose of testosterone-fuelled co-operative action. Boo-yah!

Chapters of Deceit will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace on April 1st 2010 for 800 Microsoft Points.

Enjoyed the game, but it was awfully short! So some extra co-op levels sounds good!

Haven't bought the one but have played the first one and liked it alot. Its nice to see that EA is actually supporting the product. Would have been better if DLC was free. After all, its just two missions.

i wonder if it is an add on at the end, for those who played and finished should know what that means, or if it something in the middle of the game..i was dissappointed in this game, so i wont be buying it.

God I hope this doesn't have achievements. I struggled to get 1k and I really don't want to go back to this game again. To many flaws and glitches that could have been worked out with a delay fr a month or two and a good QA team. There's no excuses for rushing a product.

@ # 4 - So every other company that offers Achievements with their DLC will be totally absolved? IF anything, EA is the worst developer outside of Sports games and Westwoods C&C. They got lucky with Dead Space and skating thin ice with the first Army of Two. Now they completely fu**ed this series up by destroying the controls. Very not worth it and not going out for DLC. At least the first game offered FREE DLC missions.

Will be the best trade in of the year.

@20. That is simply why EA is mainly a publisher, aside from their seperate branch that deals with the NFL/NHL/PGA/etc sports games.

Does everyone always have to cry about EA? It's quite annoying.

As for the content? Maybe good, maybe bad? I think I have to agree with #18 though. It's probably not worth dropping another 10$ on.

Don't buy it unless you plan on playing co-op. The co-op here is better than almost any other game out there; it's not meant to be played as a single-player game.

I think this is an absolute joke that they're releasing more campaign missions and charging for them. They did this with the first game but those 2 extra missions were free.

Why take campaign missions out only to add them as DLC? It's an insult to gamers IMO.

Played this game, far too short, too easy and too many things wrong. Its as if EA rushed the whole game just to get it out.

The game is an improvement over the first game but still has many graphics glitches and keeps teleporting you about after cut scenes!. Its still worth a play on Co-op though and the extra levels are simply more of the same. Think the 800 points is steep for something that really should have been part of the main game to pad it out a bit more. Wait to see if its on sale at some point.
