wish all games came out with a demo. Make a fun demo showing us whats in store for us if we buy it and make the sale! :DFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 01:58 PM
Didn't expect to see the F-bomb in a news article. Thought you guys had a rule on that kind of stuff.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:02 PM
@#11 - It's not the first time I've used that turn of phrase =PFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:05 PM
@2 - I am the same way!! I really want to play this game!!! Can't Wait.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:05 PM
yay demo, i'm not 100% sure about this game yet, hopefuly the demo can make me buy the gameFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:10 PM
I prefer the term "metric fuck-ton".Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:11 PM
@#11 and #12 After being in a pre-match lobby on modern warfare 2, 'fuck' is a tame word straight out of primary school :PFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:12 PM
In other news, there should be some discussion about splinter cell, besides the F-bomb =] Looking forward to this one boys! Anyone else crack the code of conviction? ;)Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 02:15 PM
I just love the term Fuck-ton to be honest, sounds funny as hell in my head :) And good to see I get to test this before I consider buying it, I liked the demo for DA but I never got the real game, never been into the Splinter Cell games to be honest but this could change my mind.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 03:06 PM
Fuck is a pretty tame word. Play X-Box Live for 3 hours.. you'll hear far worse. Fuck is the word you can take home to mom compared to most the terms I hear throughout the course of my gaming night.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 03:34 PM
If its as hilarious as the double agent demo was then great :).Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 03:48 PM
If the demo is pre-release or not, I'm gonna buy this game. This is one of those games that doesn't need a demo imo, it is going to rock anyway.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 04:05 PM
your right on that Music, i cant wait either!!Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 04:12 PM
sweetFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 04:31 PM
I just jizzed in my pants. Sucks too, I just took a shower. Damn you, Splinter Cell.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 04:57 PM
Demo or not, I already per-ordered it!Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 05:04 PM
Waiting for this game sucks!!! Give it to us already!!!Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 05:05 PM
Hope it's a single player lvl and just some crappy online multiplayer map like the AvP demo!! I want to see how the game world looks and plays =)Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 05:05 PM
Can't wait for the game and can't wait for the demo!Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 05:06 PM
* sorry that should read "and not some crappy online multiplayer map...."Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 05:55 PM
Nice a demo! I will be picking this game up regardless. I'm a huge Splinter Cell FanFriday, March 12, 2010 @ 06:45 PM
Splinter Cells have all been the same (shit) since 2001, what's going to make this one any different, or better? Sweet fuck all. ALL Tom Clancy games are dick.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 07:25 PM
I better not have to preoder the damn game to get this demo because that is stupid! The whole point of a demo is to TRY the game to see if you want to buy it! If I have to preoder the damn game to get the demo then that just goes against the idea of a demo. Stupid ass gaming community does things all wrong it seems!!Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 07:56 PM
I've already had hands-on with the game. I don't need a demo to know this is worth every cent of my preorder. But I'll still grab the demo as soon as it hits the marketplace.Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 10:29 PM
I still want to try it out before I feel like spending money on it. It LOOKS good and all that, but I've been deceived before by neat-looking features and broken promises. xDSaturday, March 13, 2010 @ 03:29 AM
Is this finally coming out? NOW MORE FUCKING DELAYSSaturday, March 13, 2010 @ 04:50 AM

In what will be the first of a proverbial fuck-ton of Splinter Cell: Conviction coverage today, the first bit of news ironically doesn't come from our hands-on time with the game or the team (we didn't go hands-on with the development team by the way!) but from a Conviction Q&A over on YouTube.
In response to whether there will be a demo for Conviction, Creative Director, Maxime Beland, simply stated, "Yes, there will be one. I can't tell you what map or when it's going to be released yet, my lips are sealed."
Let's hope it's pre-release for those of you who are unsure as to whether you'll pick it up yet.
Stick around this evening as we're publishing our Splinter Cell: Conviction latest hands-on, an interview with Beland and maybe even a little news about why we won't be seeing Spies vs. Mercs in the latest Splinter Cell sequel.
