Last week Capcom announced that 21st April will see a new Lost Planet 2 versus demo hit the Xbox Live Marketplace, but just in case the promise of slaying towering beasties wasn't enough of an incentive to get the demo in, Capcom has also put together a $20,000 charity fund for the first 1 million downloads.
The "Kill Big For Charity" campaign ties-in to the multiplayer demo, and will kick off as early subscribers begin to download it this week, continuing through to May 5th. If the downloads exceed the 1 million milestone by 500,000 on both Xbox 360 and PS3, then Capcom will also add an extra $5000 to the donation.
A donation will go to 'Music For Relief' for each demo downloaded, and will allow players to compete for a spot at a community celebrity/charity tournament hosted by Capcom Unity to take place at the game's launch party.

Lost Planet 2 is out on 11th May in Europe and North America.
