Capcom has had good faith in the Games for Windows Live service, so it was no surprise they wanted Dark Void to be included with its features. However, the development team was given this news a little later than necessary to meet the game's planned launch back in January. So, instead, they released the retail version as normal with plans at a Games on Demand release down the road that would include the GFWL features. Today is that day. As you may have saw in the achievement news feed, Dark Void can now be played on the PC for achievements (for a second time if you've already done the 360 version), but they only work from the Games on Demand version. There is no update to existing retail copies that will patch in GFWL features.
You can download the game by installing the Games for Windows client from their official website. It costs $39.99 here in the States, though prices and availability may vary by country. For more information on gaming on the PC to earn achievements, check out the site FAQ here.
