Zampella and West's Bonuses To Be Evenly Distributed Amongst Infinity Ward

Following their work on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, former Infinity Ward studio heads Jason West and Vince Zampella were due to be paid royalty bonuses, which they subsequently lost out on when they were fired by Activision for "insubordination".
There's an ongoing lawsuit regarding the unpaid money, but according to Activision social media manager, Dan Amrich talking to an anti-Activision Facebook group, the bonuses will now be "redistributed" throughout Infinity Ward.
"Vince and Jason had very large bonuses; those bonuses are being redistributed to everybody else, to the people who did not allegedly attempt to steal company secrets," said Amrich, citing allegations brought against West and Zampella in the lawsuit. "Activision is not pocketing that bonus money; it's still going to the people who work at IW. But you have to work at IW to get it, see? :) I don't want to see talented people screwed out of a paycheck any more than you do."
Since West and Zampella were fired from Infinity Ward, 13 employees have since walked out and the duo have gone onto form Respawn Entertainment with EA. It's entirely possible that some of these ex-staffers could end up at Respawn, which Amrich readily acknowledged.
"More people will probably go too, looking for new situations," he said. "Maybe they will join Respawn, maybe not. I'm confused, because by leaving, they are giving up their bonus -- and the more people that leave, the bigger the bonus gets for the people who stay. I'd think if you are young and hungry and have a vision for a new game, IW would be a really good place to be right now."
What the future holds for Infinity Ward is still uncertain then. This saga isn't over yet, it seems.
